As always The Wren was an exceptional place to stay. Welcoming to pups and the employees who Checked us in and checked us out were friendly and fun to chat with. There was one exception. As we were leaving we asked for a towel from the front desk. Our dog had jumped in the river and we wanted to dry him off a bit before we got in the car. It looked as though the employees were having a meeting. One man looked at us and said, we only have towels with urine on them. We were taken aback a little. I informed him that we had stayed there and paid the $35 pet fee. Your property doesn’t have towels at the desk?
It was very off putting. We love The Wren we will stay there again but that guy was a jerk.
To reiterate it was not any employee that checked us in or out. They were great! Whoever that other guy is during the morning huddle is not a good representation of your property.
