The Space: From the moment you step foot into the large, open entryway, you will be impressed by the spacious interior and elegant structure of this home and delighted to explore every nook and cranny. Its desirable location also puts you just minutes away from Cincinnati’s most exciting attractions. There’s nothing you won’t be able to find at The Cincinnati Cottage! To the right of the entryway, you’ll find a lovely dining room complete with chic dining table set for 4\. While not available for guest use, the antique fireplace is a focal point, having been kept in its original design. Through a set of pocket doors, the inviting living room awaits with luxurious sofa seating and a large smart TV. Whether you plan a cozy movie night in or just need an afternoon snooze after a day exploring the area, the space can accommodate either with ease. When ready for a bite, find your way into the updated kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances, Keurig coffee maker, and stocked with all the cookware and dining ware needed for a delicious home cooked meal should you find yourself in the mood. This home comfortably sleeps 6 guests between 3 private bedrooms, all located on the 2nd floor. Bedroom #1 includes a king size bed and ceiling fan. Bedroom #2 includes a queen size bed and ceiling fan. Bedroom #3 includes a full size bed and ceiling fan. The home also includes one full bathroom on the 2nd floor with a large vanity and shower/tub combo, as well as a half bath on the 1st floor. THINGS TO NOTE: • Washer and dryer in home. • Driveway parking for up to 2 vehicles available. In back of home has plenty of room behind home. Second night myself and my children in all three bedrooms were bitten by bedbugs. We left within minutes after discovering the bite marks. Home was left better than we found it. I contacted the home management company and they returned my call. They were very apologetic and asked for photos of bite marks which I sent them. They assured me the property would be inspected and they would let me know of the results. However, they have not contacted me since to let me know the results of the inspection. I filled out a report to VRBO but I have not heard back from them as well. I am terrified that we have brought the bugs home with us. I have contacted exterminator companies and have been told there is no pre-treatment that can be done on our home until after a bug is actually found. (Bite marks are not enough) So sadly, until there is a full blown infestation our home cannot be treated. Unfortunately, this experience is life changing for us regarding the health issues that this could cause. I just pray that no other family will have to go through this. So I cannot in good conscience, recommend this home to anyone. ##### vera d. There was no way to contact the property via phone. I was trying to pack and get ready for my trip in the morning and next thing I know I'm scrambling to find accommodations at the 11th hour. The house was just as described. Great location, in a safe neighborhood. We never felt unsafe during our trip. The house was well kept, very clean. Communication was great and they even came to replace batteries in the keyless entry on one door, even though we still had the option of using the other door. We would highly recommend this rental and will definitely stay there if we’re back in the area! ##### Kristi T. The upstairs has two small bedrooms, one larger bedroom and full bath.The house has charm and squeaky floors throughout. We needed a place for our family to stay for a week during a home renovation and found this gem for our family of 5\. The house was clean with such historic charm, cutely decorated, and had everything we needed for our week long stay. I loved the location right next to a cute coffee shop Madison Place and then walkable to historic Mariemont for great restaurants! Plus easy/ driveable to Madeira, Indian Hill, or Kenwood area which we needed for school/sports. The listing was exactly like the house experience. The owner was super flexible as we changed dates multiple times in order to map up to our home renovation. I was very thankful!
