Incredible views on a private deck overlooking OTR and downtown! With a large backyard, a safe tight-knit community, and off street parking, it's perfect for couples & families who need a yard and space to stretch out. 1 mile to hospitals, the university and downtown! My decor is simple and easy with lots of natural tones and a mix of mid-century & nordic furniture with lush indoor plants. My place is a studio apartment with its own private deck on the bottom level of a 3.5 story duplex. Both apartments are completely separate except for the laundry room and they both have their own entrances. There is a single full bathroom. It has a living room area with a sofa bed, a queen size bed, a complete kitchen, a dining table, a private deck and huge windows overlooking downtown Cincinnati. I have a stocked kitchen with pots & pans, dishes, coffee maker and electric hot water pitcher for tea. I provide guests with Dr. Bronner's soap products & full coffee assortment. There are off street parking spaces and full access to the backyard. There is a laundry room shared with the 2 level apartment above this one. If you have a large group, be sure to rent the apartment above this one! You have access to the shared laundry room (shared with upper apartment) the studio apartment, parking spaces, the large backyard and the studio apartment's back porch! I'm available and on call whenever you need! It's not apparent when visiting the property, but there is an additional full basement below this apartment accessible by where I store the lawn mower and gardening supplies. You might see myself or my cleaner (Monica) coming out from below the deck to take care of the lawn or improving the building. I live in a rare, tight knit neighborhood made of 2 streets on the edge of Over the Rhine. The south and west directions are bordered by 30 foot retaining walls and the north is bordered by the steep bluffs of Mt. Bellevue. It's a mix of entrepreneurs, artists, designers, retirees, young families and students who live here for the incredible views of Cincinnati. The neighborhood is safe with a very active neighborhood watch. Neighbors are often walking their dogs or jogging by and will wave and greet you, it's a very lovely place! My place is convenient to both University of Cincinnati and Over the Rhine, as it lies in between both areas. FC Cincinnati games, University of Cincinnati, Findlay Market and the streetcar stop at Rhinegeist brewery are all within a 15 minute walk of my house. You can board the streetcar and take it all the way to the river to watch a Reds or a Bengals game or take it halfway to Washington Park. It is a studio, but the bedroom/living room is more than ample. The kitchen is behind an old brick wall that adds to the charm of the place, and comes with a tea pot, a coffee maker and sugar, nice silverware and cups. There is a tiny table for two. The bathroom is fine, with a good sized bath/shower. The is even a washer and dryer shared with tenants upstairs but separate from them. There is good AC (and i assume heat) and internet with subscriptions (surprisingly!) to several streaming services.. Outdoors, there ‘s a good view of OTR and downtown. Next door is a sizable side yard. You reach your place by descending old rock stairs which were no problem for me, and i am 73\. It is an old, unfancy neighborhood, but as far as i could tell, safe. Cincinnati is hilly and this neighborhood is too, which accounts for a lot of its charm. I would come back again; indeed i wouldn’t look for another VRBO. Check-in was easy and the host had tips about the neighborhood. One small quibble. The host says it has “great views IN OTR.”. This place has views of over-the-Rhine but isn’t in it, which i would say is a plus because it is calm and quiet up here, not noisy or congested. ##### PJ p. The little yard was very clean and well manicured and perfect for our small dogs. The location was excellent for our wedding plans downtown. We were never more than 10 minutes from anything we wanted to do or visit, including the zoo/botanical gardens and the awesome riverfront! ##### Sally R. Very clean and good location, very close to UC campus. The unit is downstairs, so we did hear footsteps above at night but was not bad. It’s a cute studio apartment. Communication was great with owner. Kitchen essentials were sparse which made cooking difficult. Very few utensils, no dish towels and only one pot. Just the right size for a couple. Bathroom could use a bit more shelving for toiletries. The way down to the entrance and back up to the parking was difficult because of the old steps and no decent hand railing. The location is in a transitional neighborhood... no little cafes or eateries in walking distance. Not sure about Uber or taxis, so I figure you need to be prepared to drive everywhere. It would have been nice to have a directory or an email about what is close by for food delivery or anything else about the neighborhood offerings. ##### Terri S.
