« We loved the location right in the middle but no noise and the fair price that included great breakfast. The stuff was AMAZING. The reception was wonderful and they let us check in earlier, locked storage for the bicycle on the ground floor, checked foe our needs, gave us recommendations for the best spots to see the waterfall and nice places to eat. Nothing was too much and super patient . All the stuff was friendly helpful and welcoming. Wonderful . Thank you so much »

« So happy to have found this gem of a hotel! A historic, 500 year old building on the banks of the Rhine. The room was very comfortable and the staff extremely friendly and accommodating. I would definitely go back! A few things to be aware of: there is no elevator, a taxi or Uber between Eglisau and the Zurich airport cost between 50 and 100 Swiss francs, and the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. But all in all, a lovely, relaxing place, so different from Zurich. »

"Staff was OK, the room qas spacious, the placement very good if you need to fly, and cleanliness was generally OK (except the bathroom that contained mold around the bath). Food was delicious at the restaurant (burger and veggie burger), a little bit expensive but delicious. Hotel charges 29 CHF/night for the car parking...a little bit to expensive."
