The home is a wonderful space to come back to after a day outdoor adventures, such as hiking trails and Claytor Lake or game days! This home also offers privacy and tranquility but is a close drive to Downtown Blacksburg for shopping/dining. The outdoor beauty and spacious home make this a great place to stay all year long! Book today! We want to make sure you have the utmost convenience! You'll be provided an access code to the main entrance prior to check-in. The owners are local, and will be able to be reached by phone, text, or email, during the duration of your stay. This home is conveniently located just a short drive from Virginia Tech in Christiansburg and Radford University, making it an ideal location for families visiting students or attending university events. Virginia Tech is approximately a 15-minute drive, and Radford University is approximately a 25-minute drive. The charming town of Blacksburg, VA, is only a short drive from this house and offers a variety of shops, restaurants, and local attractions. You'll find everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, including grocery stores, pharmacies, and medical facilities. Whether you're visiting the local universities or exploring the town of Christiansburg, Mountain View Escape House is the perfect home base for all your adventures. Book your stay today! All area's of the home and property are open for guests use. This 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath house features an open living space with conveniently sized bedrooms for up to 6 guests. The home offers a cozy feel while having a lot of room and open space. The kitchen and dining area looks out to the back yard and porch with rolling hills and mountain views, which can be accessed through the main living space. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, sink and island for preparing food. The kitchen is filled with plenty of cookware, plates and items to make your stay comfortable: Keurig, Toaster( which is also an air fryer) and Large Refrigerator. There are three bedrooms located on the upper-level. A queen sized bed is in each room. Laundry room is located on the upper-level and features washer and dryer and is equipped with detergent and cleaning supplies. It has a propane gas grill. Propane may be there, but it is not provided. If tanks are empty, guests are responsible for refilling. The home offers a large driveway with more than enough room for parking. (4+ cars) Approximately 1.5 miles from Interstate 81, which runs along the southern edge of Christiansburg. This proximity provides convenient access to major highways, facilitating travel to nearby areas. Dogs are allowed but must be included on listing and pet fee must be paid. Dogs must be kept on-leash. \- Home has WIFI and connection is strong \- Absolutely no parties allowed any parties will result in a canceled reservation and immediately being asked to leave \-Basement is not included in rental There is parking in three spaces on the right side of driveway, and one space to the left in drive way. \- Coffee Maker (Regular & Keurig) \-Propane (for grill): 1\. There MAY BE a propane tank available at the house. 2.If you see a tank, you may use it for the grill. 3\. If the tank is empty, guests are responsible for refilling it. 4\. Large kitchen with all the needed essentials. The office space was excellent since my husband had to work remotely. The location was perfect for us near a main route. There was an ice storm and I contacted the company who responded immediately about our concerns about the ice. They sent a company to de-ice the stairs, clear the snow from the stairs and driveway so we could attend the event we came to the area for. Only suggestions I have are that one sink in the upstairs bathroom missing the sink plug and both sinks drained slow. Check out at 10 a.m. is early, especially since we were from out of town. Running the dishwasher at the end of our stay is fine, but normally we do not have to then put the dishes away. Taking out the garbage is fine and clearly labeled. There were some condiments left over in the fridge from previous guests. Overall a great place to stay and 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms provided plenty of space. We would love to stay here again as it's very close to what we were in town for. ##### Ariane M.
