We used it as a base for our sojourns down to Lake Winnebago, nearby Fond du Lac, and more. We had communicated with Carol that we were bringing our young granddaughters, and when we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to see that Carol had laid out brand new children’s activities (coloring materials) games, and light sticks for the Fourth of July celebrations. All was so special, but what the kids loved most was exploring the various rooms and spaces, all decorated with odd era pieces and memorabilia from two or three generations ago.
