Leider aber war alles sehr alt und wenig gepflegt. Selbst für diesen Preis könnte man in Chiang Rai mehr erwarten. Der große Raum hatte leider nur ein winziges Fenster wodurch der Raum sehr dunkel wirkte. Mit eine bißchen mehr Wartung und Pflege und z.B. einen Wasserkessel etc. wäre es gut gewesen. For the price I paid, I had no problems The room is really spacious with two twins. The bed was comfortable and it had a minifridge with two free waters in it. The bathroom was also spacious with a strong shower head! The only problem I had was the AC not really kicking it strong enough. The room would stay cool but not a lot. The staff was extremely nice and let us check in early and also helped us call a cab when we checked out. The area is extremely empty but is near the night bazaar. About a 15 minute walk. The white temple you must pick up a taxi because it is a 20 minute drive. I did not find that there were anything really close by to do though, the town felt a little too quiet for my taste. But the white temple is a must see! The first room they got us was filled with mold. Impossible. They offered us then one in the top level, which means STAIRS (watch out). A big room, big bathroom. The location is great and you can walk to a lot of things. It was a bit damp and moldy smelling when we first got inside. The smell cleared up a bit in the 2nd/3rd day. There's only a tiny sliver of a window so my bf said it felt like a large white jail cell or a white box type feeling. It's big and the bathroom is spacious compared to other hotels of this price. The room itself is decent and comfortable. The buffet is really tiny with very limited choices so don't expect much. There is no one at the front desk at 4-5am so if you have a problem, don't expect someone there 24/7\. We didn't like that. My bf took a shower really late and the power went out 2-3 times during his shower and it was dark and the water turned cold. He sent me out to get someone but no one was there.
