Myself and 4 friends planned a weekend getaway and chose Chester, NS. Some of us had been to the area before and loved it, plus we wanted to visit the Sensea Spa. We were so fortunate to find the Chester House. It is so gorgeous and Peter & Suzanne were amazing hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially sitting on the private dock in the mornings. The view of the harbour is breathtaking.
Thank you! We will be back!
We really enjoyed our week in Chester and were so happy with this accommodation. The hosts are so friendly and accommodating. Thank you so very much and we hope that we can return again.
Our first time in charming Chester was exactly what I had imagined in an authenticly historic home , well appointed with comfortable and tasteful decor. Perfect. And the town has evrything- a bakery with wonderful coffee and pasteries, a pub and a wharf front restaurant with lobster and chowder, shopping and historic architecture. And its a short drive from Halifax and to LaHave, Lunenberg, Mahone Bay and Peggys Cove.
We visited from Alberta, and this was an excellent location for a home base for 4 nights as we explored lower Nova Scotia. Tons within driving distance. Suzanne and Peter were excellent hosts and answered quickly to any questions we had via booking chat. Especially on how to get the Oilers game on the TV during the Stanley Cup Finals! Quiet, private location. Spacious inside and out. Excellent views. Private wharf to relax in the evenings. Loved the stay. Easy check in and check out. Would recommend.
