Since I was 5 years old, the fantasy of building a true mountain log cabin, deep in the woods, far away from the beaten path, has only been a dream… until now. This little slice of heaven is finally finished, nestled so comfortably in the Blue Ridge mountains where the trees are taller than any of our troubles. Five years of planning and 27 months of building came to a completion in 2024. I'm so very excited to share my dream with the world. Please come to relax, breathe deeply, clear your mind, stargaze, shift in consciousness, re-connect, and allow your soul to be fully free.

There are no cameras anywhere inside or outside of this cabin, only at the entrance of the property itself.

Please note: The second bedroom is actually a small loft space with a nice futon bed (sheets, blankets, and pillow are kept in a cedar chest in the loft). It's mainly set up for a child or teenager, but just fine for an adult as well.

PLEASE NOTE: Young children under the age of 7 are not recommended for the following safety reasons:
1.) Ambient fire stove gets very hot.
2.) Loft access is by ladder only.
3.) Hot tub safety.
4.) Tall tables & chairs can fall over.

We are dog lovers, so if your 4 legged friends are well mannered... they are most certainly welcome to vacation with you! (Pet Limit: 2 dogs) The pet fee will only be $65 flat, however you must notify your host of breed, age, and demeanor of your pets when booking the cabin.
Please assist the cleaning crew by cleaning up after your pets.
Please do not allow dogs on the furniture.
A gate has been installed at the deck entrance, so no worries about children falling down stairs or dogs wandering off.
All guests are 100% responsible & liable for their dogs.

*** Another 2 bedroom cabin “I Love View” is available on the opposite side of the property if you would like to expand your vacation with friends & family.

SUMMER TUBING!!! So much fun.
This property is conveniently located 5 miles from the Toccoa River tubing companies. Just a short drive through the forest and you are there!
Rent a tube, and they will shuttle you to the drop in. It's kid friendly (mellow), and so beautiful.

Please read "House rules" before booking. We ARE NOT strict hosts, but the rules are important (especially when it comes to fires).... This is a remote location on a mountain, so any negligence or irresponsibility with the fire pit, fireworks, or smoking could be extremely devastating to the all surrounding forestry. Other than a garden hose and fire extinguishers, there is absolutely no way to put out a fire should one get out of hand. Smokey the Bear says: "ONLY YOU can prevent forest fires."

Guest access:
* Self check in with key pad.
* You will have complete & private access to the entire property during your stay.
* This is mountain terrain.
* 4 cylinder lightweight vehicles are not recommended,
unless you consider yourself an above average driver.
* Please try to arrive before dark. It's just way easier.

WINTER BOOKINGS:
If inclement weather consisting of heavy snow or ice is in the forecast during your stay, your reservation will be cancelled with a full refund. The mountain terrain is most definitely a dangerous liability during snow and ice. Also, the cabin IS NOT equipped with a back up generator if a power outage takes place during a snow / ice storm.

Other things to note:
* The cabin is in a rugged and mountainous setting.
* The cabin is not handicap accessible.
* The water here is awesome... pure mountain spring water from a 400 ft. well
(filtered twice - tested for purity)
* No need to bring bottled water.
* There is no indoor tub, only a shower & an outdoor hot tub.
* Smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit provided.
* There is plenty of outdoor lighting, but bringing a flashlight is always a good idea.
