People should be told about those very steep stairs to get up. There was lovely room nice location, but the mattress definitely needs to be replaced. It was way too soft. The service was impeccable. The property is beautiful. It’s a lovely property. They just need a little bit of notice regarding the stairs and they need a new mattress up there. We stayed 2 nights and went on The Polar Express train ride while in Bryson City. The property is wonderful as well as the hosts, and we loved it so much that we are making it a yearly tradition and staying at the McKinley Edward’s Inn!!! Took the time to have conversations with us and how they could help us in any way during our stay. Breakfast was great!! Rooms were clean. Dining and common areas were also clean and quiet. I LOVED MY STAY!! Will go back to this Inn anytime I am visiting the Bryson City area. And the best part, this is Not a Chain. The lodging was very comfortable, homey, and the room was very large and spacious. The breakfast the next morning was delicious and the coffee was hot :)! We very much enjoyed our stay and would come stay again!
