We stayed at the Queen Anne Inn during our recent trip to Chatham and came away really impressed. The Inn has a wonderful old-Cape-Cod character. You can tell it's been a fixture in town for generations, and it's a nice change from the newer, more generic places nearby.
The garden and grounds add a lot to the peaceful, unhurried feel of the place, and it's an easy walk into downtown Chatham for shopping and restaurants.

The carpet was heavily stained, and many of the listed amenities were not on property such as ice. Staff cleaned rooms to the best of their ability and were kind and helpful.
Very old bathroom with loose floor tiles. Felt more like a budget motel. Room was generally ok but bedding smelled terrible and had blood stains. Management switched it out the next day. Staff were polite and accommodating. But general amenities are almost none. No coffee maker in the room.
Amazing service, delicious breakfast and very nice workers.

7/10 — Charming property with room for improvement
We stayed for two nights this past weekend and overall had a pleasant stay. We were in the back cottage, and the room itself was totally fine. I especially liked the hardwood floors, and we had no major concerns with the room during our stay. The bathroom could use some updating, but everything was functional.
The main building has a cute, eclectic New England feel, with some really charming sitting areas and common spaces. There’s definitely a lot of character to the property, and with a few updates and a little more attention to the grounds, I think it could be a really lovely place.
One area that stood out was the upkeep of the outdoor spaces. There were tables and chairs with quite a few fallen leaves sitting on them throughout the weekend, which made the outdoor areas feel a bit less inviting than they could have been. A little more regular maintenance would make a noticeable difference.
The front desk receptionist was wonderful. She was very friendly and checked in with us a couple of times throughout the weekend to make sure everything was going well and that we didn’t need anything, which we really appreciated.
Overall, we had a good stay and everything went smoothly. The property has a lot of charm and potential, and I think some updates to the bathrooms and a bit more attention to the outdoor grounds could really elevate the experience.

My wife and I stayed in the Balcony Queen. The check in/out process was very simple. The room was quaint and we were pretty comfortable. I liked the balcony space to relax and use as an extra space if I didn't want to stay inside. The bathroom could use with some modern touches but it had plenty of room.
The Queen Anne Inn is about a 5 minute drive away from the main Chatham area which was nice when we had plans. Unrelated to the Queen Anne Inn, the main Chatham area can be a madhouse!
The biggest thing that stuck out to me was the staff. I accidentally left my CPAP and I got a call from the Queen Anne Inn informing me. Unfortunately, we were an hour away and headed to the airport to catch our flight. The woman I was talking to at the Queen Anne Inn took it upon herself to offer to ship it to me and, despite my insistence to pay, they also covered the shipping. They absolutely didn't have to since it was my mistake. Thank you to the staff at the Queen Anne Inn!
In a quiet neighborhood where we got an in room jacuzzi. There breakfasts were perfect along with the staff. The cuisine choices for area were endless with crowds at there lowest for this time of year.
I liked that even in mid-October the pool was (just) warm enough to use.
I liked the helpful suggestions of the inn keeper about dining and local sights

Dana is a superstar and she does the best she can within the limitations the place and resources pose to her. She went out her way to try to improve our situation. Breakfast was superb.
This was just a wonderful place to stay for our visit to Cape Cod. Dana and the staff were wonderful. They made us feel like family! Everything was convenient to get to whether it be walkable or drivable. The included breakfast was lovely. Social hour between 5:00PM and 6:00PM allowed us to kick back, have a snack and meet other visitors to the Inn. I highly recommend a stay there. You won't be sorry!
Climb to second floor was difficult... I should have asked for ground floor when reserved.
Staff was over the top friendly and helpful! Loved the bar and breakfast... excellent!!!
Bed needed a new mattress... we kept rolling to the middle.
They should warn people that chairs get wet overnight on the patio,,, sat in a very wet chair which really spoiled the nice deck.
Location was perfect...parking was easy...
Overall we had a great time!
This was my husband's and I first time in Chatham and we couldn't have picked a more perfect place to stay. The inn had everything we needed with a spacious and clean room and fresh towels everyday. The bed was comfortable as well. We had a fridge with coffee/tea in the room.
The breakfast every morning was the best hotel breakfast we ever had! Its a sit down meal with multiple tasteful items to choose from. There is a happy hour every night with free wine and a specially made cheeseboard which is such a nice touch.
The inn is walkable to the pond, main street and the beach (if you're ok with a walk). The inn keeper Dana was so helpful and nice. Always available and accommodating to anything we needed. We will for sure recommend the inn to anyone we know traveling to Chatam!
This old established bed & breakfast with many features that are desirable, it is near to the center of Chatham, has a beaufitul pool, good breakfast, and warm and caring staff. It is clean. But for elder, seniors, the choice of a first floor room is essential as the stairs are long and narrow. The toilets are old and very low. The shower does not have safety bars. You must also we wise as to the breakfast menu which is designed for visitors and every item has an associated price; you do not know what is included and the staff do not tell you what is included, buyer beware. There is no afternoon treats, you are own your own; but the staff is happy to help with reservations for your evening meal.
Quiet hotel nestled next to beautiful Oyster Pond harbor and 2 blocks from town. Rooms are large and clean. It is scheduled for a renovation soon and the bathroom s need a new makeover. Staff is friendly and the pool is very nice as a way to end the day
It is a lovely property, very clean and beautiful.
Megan was so welcoming and made our wedding anniversary special.
The balcony overlooking the pool was so peaceful and nice.
There was no breakfast or dinner service as they apparently going to be doing a restoration later in the year. But there are many food places in town.

I stayed at the Queen Anne several times under the former owners. Staff was great and helpful; room came with a great breakfast off the menu that the was delicious.
The owners sold the property, and we stayed there this weekend. A sign was posted that coffee and tea were offered 7-10 am. I inquired about the breakfast as the description on Expedia said "continental breakfast." I was informed by the front desk that they are renovating the kitchen and have no control over what it says on Expedia. The next morning we attempted to lock the door with the key and gave up and turned the knob and left. That night we attempted to open the door. We pushed and pulled and jiggled and it didn't open. The front desk was closed, I called the number posted and was told it would be 7 minutes until someone could come. We kept jiggling the key and it eventually opened so I cancelled the call. The next morning, I spoke to the woman at the front desk who told me it was and "old knob" and you needed to "play with it." I understand it is an old hotel, but a not properly functioning doorknob it at best an inconvenience when you want to retire for the night.
The next day we returned to our room, and it was not cleaned, clearly no one had serviced our room, but it was late and again no one was at front desk. BTW the front door is left unlocked and no one is on the premises who is in charge. In the morning we went down to get our coffee and leave, apparently front desk was running late, no coffee

Megan at the front desk extremely nice and helpful. Our room was updated newer bathroom and furniture. It lacked water. No ice in hotel or drinking water for guests. It’s a bed and breakfast without breakfast. So easy to fix. Grounds need fixing.
