Great hotel with fantastic staff and beautiful grounds. Decor is fab but carpets a little tired which hardly detracts from the "niceness" of everything. The bath and shower are absolutely superb!
Didn't like the pay to park which was not mentioned in the Expedia listing - but the staff, ever helpful, comped me on the parking which was a brilliant bit of extra service. Food in the on-site restaurant is delicious and a well thought out varied menu to suit all appetites and tastes. Beware the Inca cocktail - it is absolutely lethal and far too refreshing. Luckily it wasn't far to crawl "home". As a solo female traveller, I was made to feel welcome, treated so well, and felt safe and happy for my whole 4 day stay. I will definitely be back to the Landmark for all my Dundee visits which will be frequent.

Cute little one bed upside down house which was spacious enough for two of us attending a wedding near by. Couldn't eat here as we arrived on a Tuesday and the restaurant isn't open at the start of the week but the courtyard restaurant across the road is lovely and very convenient. Even when we got back after 11pm on the Wednesday everything was shut up so we still couldn't have a drink even if we'd wanted. Waterside setting is the best thing about it.

Morven House was such a beautiful and quiet stop for us on our travel through Scotland. We had a room with a view of the River and the Carnoustie Golf Course.
The property was easy to find and lots of free parking.
Lisa, the Owner, greeted us and showed us all around. She made reservations for us at the Golf Club and it was excellent.
Breakfast - we made our selection the night before and arrived at the time we requested to a table set with our coffee and fruit waiting. The breakfast was just as ordered and delicious.
The bed was so comfortable and the room spacious.
I loved the reading room on the main floor. Nice quiet place to relax.
Would highly recommend Morven House - you won’t be disappointed.
