Welcome to @StayIOP - Barefoot Bungalow. This newly renovated family beach house with spacious decks and outdoor living space is located directly across the city's recreation center, perfect for families of all ages. Upon arriving, you will notice the large front porch where you can sit and enjoy your favorite beverage while watching your children play across the street, or if you prefer to have them closer to home, the space below the house is set up to entertain kids (and adults) of all ages. This home is one of the rentals within the @StayIOP brand on the island, and it has an excellent rental history and reviews.
This beautiful dog-friendly beach house is located at #29 27th Avenue, on Isle of Palms, SC, just a short walk or golf cart ride to the beach. It has a great family room to relax and watch a movie in the evening after a long day at the beach, touring historic Charleston, or on the Links at Wild Dunes. Your family and pets will love it. This floor plan offers a four-bedroom 2 1/2, two-and-a-half-bath elevated ranch with a backyard ready for fun. A fire pit area and landscaped yard make this location a great area to retreat to in the evenings for a marsh mellow roast or to relax. A gas grill is available for the family grill master. A large flat-screen TV in the living room is adjacent to the open dining area and kitchen. This house is turn-key with linens and all kitchen appliances. The Dog Park and Recreation Center is across the street from the house. Tennis, Basketball, Softball, and Soccer fields are all just a short walk away. If you love to play, you will love this location

Great stay on Isle of Palms

My family had a wonderful stay at Ryan's property in Isle of Palms. He was incredibly responsive, and the property was perfectly located (short golf cart ride to the beach, Harris Teeter and all restaurants). Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Great property

We were in town for a family event and decided to rent a home instead of staying with family. The location and home or absolutely perfect. Had enough room for all of us and loved having the ping-pong table downstairs for people to play.Woukd definitely stay here again.

Family Vacation with Adult Kids

We had an amazing week staying at this beautiful home. The location absolutely cannot be beat. Walking distance to the beach access and a close 15-20 minute drive into Charleston. Highly recommend!

This house is incredible, so beautifully decorated and fully equipped with anything you might need for your stay. Perfect location by the park and quick walk to the beach. The hosts were wonderful and available if needed. Hope to visit again soon!

Paradise Found

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect spot to call home for a week. The house is beautiful inside and out. And the location allowed us to easily enjoy daily morning adventures on the beach with our fur kids. We didn’t want to leave, and we can’t wait to return!

Family beach week

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is adorable and we had plenty of space for my husband and I and our teenage kids and a couple of their friends. The beach was walkable but we rented a golf cart and it was a quick ride to the beach. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions.

Perfect getaway!

We loved our stay! The house is so beautiful and clean and chic. The property was great and even though it rained just about the whole time we were there, we were able to get out and take some walks with our dogs around the neighborhood and along the beach which was great. Our dogs were in heaven- the place is so calm and light and bright. Sonya and Ryan were great and super helpful! Can’t wait to go back when it’s warmer!

A Great week!

House was newly renovated and very well-equipped! Each of the bedrooms was comfortable and had a great bed. We have been renting on IOP for more than 10 years and have seen all kinds of houses. Great location across from the park. With 4 teens, we spent a lot of time here after the beach. This house is a keeper -- will be booking again. Thank you!

Best Vacation!

This home was wonderful, everyone had lots of room, it was clean and absolutely beautiful. Seven family members stayed here and everyone had plenty of room. My mornings were spent in a lovely spot on the back porch, it was quiet and cool with a sweet ceiling fan. Charleston was a short drive and we participated in many fun activities, the 9:00 pm Ghost tour in the horse drawn carriage was our favorite. The ocean was a short distance away, but a golf cart made the trip easier and much more fun. You will not regret renting this home. The owners were very nice and responsive also.

As good as it looks

Property is brand new. So if the furniture. And what a pleasant surprise. It didn't just look good, it was good. Great mattresses. Great couch. Great dining room table. Great outdoor sitting. Nice neighbors. Right across from the city park. Can't recommend highly enough.

Amazing Stay!

Our family had a blast at this exceptional IOP beach house! The location is perfect. The house is a short walk to the beach, even manageable with a toddler. If you prefer to drive the two or so blocks, there is plenty of public parking. There is a great park across the street with a large and well maintained playground, as well as athletic courts and fields. To top it off, the IOP marina is a short drive or bike ride down the road. The house was renovated with great quality and furnishings. There is plenty of space inside and out for a whole family or group to enjoy. The hosts are top notch and want you to have an amazing stay! We will 100% book the property again for another vacation.

Great vacation home for children and pets

Nice location across the street from the island rec center that has a dog park and playground. Only a block and a half or so from the beautiful beach. House is fully renovated and looks exactly like the photos. We enjoyed using the fully stocked kitchen for making dinners (purchased fresh fish and shrimp from Abundent Seafood at Shem Creek), but we highly recommend Coda Del Pesce if you can get a reservation. Incredible! Wonderful neighbors next door are super friendly and kind. Would recommend bringing your own bath towels even though they provide them. Or I would suggest owner upgrade theirs. Very thin and old…not up to quality of this beautiful home.

Amazing property

We've been coming to IOP for several years now, and this was the best property we have stayed at to date. Clean, beautifully maintained, and we felt right at home. Highly recommend it for families and those who love to cook. The kitchen is phenomenal. The owners were very responsive and great, too. We hope to be back soon!

Great updated home in great location on IOP

The layout of the home was ideal, the updates and decor was lovely and the backyard for the doggo was icing on top. I'd recommend this place for anyone visiting IOP.

Enjoyed this stay. Close to beach. Clean. Host lives nearby & Very responsive. Beach chairs & toys provided by host. Would like to have had a dustpan for cleanup & a large pot for cooking corn & shrimp. Very slippery mattress pads as everyone’s sheets kept coming off during the night (both easy fixes).
