"Cost for overnight parking was $43/night, which was a bit excessive. Maintenance needed to be called when we checked in to get the climate control and fan to work in our room. No shampoo in the bathroom. Breakfast was OK, but grits and oatmeal were not refilled. We decided to go out for breakfast after the first morning.
Staff was pleasant and helpful. Room and bathroom were clean; beds were comfortable.
Building is "worn" and could use a upgrade, including better security at elevators, restricting access to floors above lobby level.
Outdoor pool was open, but too cool to swim in the first week of May.
This hotel is in the Historic District. You are paying for the location. It is not a good value for the money."
