Since they were first introduced to our program, the Rouladina Apartments have proved consistently popular and guests return year after year. They come back, not only for the location and comfort of the apartments, but for the warm welcome from the owners, Manolis and Dimitra. They have their own apartment and take care of the property and their guests with a perfect combination of discrete Canadian/Greek efficiency and genuine Cretan hospitality. Location Stalos Just a short stroll downhill from the apartments there is a choice of several tavernas, shops and mini markets. Opposite the apartments is a family run taverna which has been approved by several guests as well. The long sandy beach of Stalos runs for 7kms merging with Agia Marina and Platanias, which are more bustling in peak season vs the low key Stalos beach. There is a regular bus service to [Chania](https://www.freelancevillas.com/chania-villas/) on the main road in Stalos. Apartment suited us all and the pool area is lovely and very clean. There is a short bus ride into Chania which only costs €2pp, this can get very busy and won’t stop if full. We got a taxi for all 6 of us into chania which dropped us off in the old town for €25\. The old town is so pretty, plenty of restaurants and shops. Beaches are lovely and locals are friendly.
