The hotel was wonderful and having various room options was really important to our group. We very much enjoyed the sea access but would be weary with children as it can be rough (they have a wonderful pool option)- for adults there was no concern! Staff was helpful!

The hotel sits on a cliff overlooking the ocean and has an incredible swimming area along the base of the cliffs! Our room was exactly as advertised online and had a wonderful balcony and sweeping views of the ocean! The restaurant features dining alfresco in the evening and has a very extensive menu. I would highly recommend this property to couples as a romantic getaway.!

Overall a positive experience, but dinner on the terrace may be idyllic atmospherically, but a gastronomic treat it is not. However, Cefalu has some fab restaurants, so dine there instead.

Hotel Kalura's location is wonderful location. Our room had a spectacular view of the Tyrrhenian sea. The hotel has everything to spend a great vacation, from the excellent restaurant to the beautiful beach. And the staff is very friendly.

Amazing hotel

Third time here, truly amazing and relaxing hotel. Breakfast and beach area are sooo good. The only negative is that the price has doubled in just a couple of years but we are definitely coming back anyways.

Loved it here! Expansive property with huge pool and private beach- food, beverage, chairs, umbrellas all available. Get your towel at reception before heading down the many steps. Staff were kind, helped to arrange taxis into town- though it’s a nice seaside walk that takes 30 min. Bed was really comfy and the sheets were divine! Breakfast options are many and it’s included. Dinner was delicious and served with a beautiful seaside view.

Excellent stay

I really liked this place. I was a little hesitant as it’s located a little bit outside of Cefau but there is a great walking path and it was well worth it for the private beach. Lovely staff and amazing views from the room (standard sea view) would highly recommend it!

The hotel itself was nice, I liked the privet beach and the food was great. The only issue was the location, it’s a 30 minute walk to the city center and there isn’t really anything around the hotel itself.

The location and grounds are beautiful with many nice outdoor seating areas. We had a problem with the lack of sound proofing in our room. The room has a large mirror on a track like a barn door with no wall behind it, only foam. This allowed all conversation from the guests attached to be heard in our room. We felt like we were sharing the room with other guests. We brought this to the attention of the front office staff with a picture and sound recording from our room. They made no attempt to help us.

Our stay at the property was great! I would like to note that there was a bit of mold in our shower & the shower water leaked out onto the floor in the bathroom. It could’ve been just our room but would’ve been nice to not have that at all. The beach & pool area are great and very well maintained. It makes the location so unique and special. A shuttle service to the city centre would’ve been great however, this hotel lacked this. If you want a beautiful view, a nice spot to swim and a good nights rest - stay here.
