Nice, clean home just outside Mammoth Cave National Park. Everything was as described and we cooked dinner and breakfast very easily at the home. Plenty of space for our family of four to spread out and relax comfortably. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

An ideal family home base for visiting Mammoth Cave.

This home was perfect for my family's visit to Mammoth Cave. The location was ideal, just 12 minutes from the visitor center. The home was clean, and everything worked perfectly.

Beautiful home and Convenient to Mammoth Cave

home is very modern, clean, quiet and spacious. Everything was in very good working order; there's lots of room for you to enjoy indoors and nice outdoor seating. A very short drive to Mammoth Caves. We didn't explore the town of Cave City while there.

Amazing stay!

We could not have been happier with our stay! The home was spotless and well stocked with everything we needed plus beds were super comfortable. Barry and Daniela were great host they were very accessible and accommodating with our needs. We will definitely be back!

Solitude; Yet Close To Everything

Our stay here was awesome! It was nice to come back to solitude in the evening after busy days of exploring the area. We weren't able to sit outside much or enjoy the fire pit; it rained for 3 days straight during our visit. But it was a very nicely landscaped yard. We didn't hear any noise from the neighbors. We used this property as our base for exploring the many caves in the area. We toured 5 caves without having to drive any long distance. We would highly recommend renting this property!

Great stay near MCNP

Clean and comfortable home. Very thoughtful set up with soaps & switches clearly labeled and most everything needed provided. Comfy beds, plenty of seating & great communication with owner. Snack basket & keurig pods a pleasant plus. Less than 15 minute drive to MCNP visitor center.

Perfect location for Mammoth Cave!

Incredible location for visiting Mammoth Cave! We loved having a large house with plenty of room to spread out with our family.If it all possible, in the future, the master bedroom could be greatly improved by an actual bed and not a futon-type bed. The living room furniture could also be replaced and seating expanded with something a lot more comfortable for hanging out as a family together.We did love and enjoy the fire pit outside to enjoy the lovely weather and the nighttime sky.

Beautiful house

Our family stayed while visiting Mammoth Cave and was a perfect location. Close to the park and other places with things to do right outside the park. Would definitely stay here again if came back to visit.

Beautiful home close to Mammoth Cave National Park

My family and I stayed here for a short spring break trip. We very much enjoyed our stay. It felt like home. My kids were able to run around and play outside and we loved using the fire pit. We would come back and stay again!

The property is very nice and I enjoyed the stay. The only problem I had was that when I arrived there was not enough internet service to open the email to get the door code. I had to drive into cave city to open the email. In the future I will write that down before I get to the problem. I realize this is a problem you can’t fix. I only mention it so you might warn others in the future. I tried to rent this property again since my last stay but it was not available for one night only. My job will have me in the cave city area one night per month for the foreseeable future.

Very nice stay

This house was great. We really enjoyed the firepit and all the space for the kids to run around. It's very conveniently located close to Mammoth Cave. The hosts are very friendly and responsive.

Great stay!

Great house, close to MCNP and everything you will need

We had a great stay! The house is exactly as it is listed. It was very clean and nicely appointed. It is very convenient to the park and other activities. The street is quiet and allows for excellent stargazing!

A Review

As others have shared, this house is exceptionally clean, the neighborhood is safe, the beds are comfortable, and the house is lovely. The hosts reply to all questions nearly immediately. I also wanted to add a few minor things that were a blessing: there are 4 flat screen TV’s; one in each bedroom, 1 in the main living room, and 1 in a living room “nook” - which would be a great place for the kids to watch their own movie or play video games. The hosts provide ample hand soap, dish soap, shampoo, body wash in the showers, and dishwasher pods. (Don’t forget to bring laundry soap if you want to wash your clothes.) The soap is high quality, as is the toilet paper. (Those little details are such a perk!) They also provide a Keurig coffee maker with a few coffee and hot chocolate pods and a basket of snacks. This is such a lovely place to stay! We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. It’s so close to Mammoth Cave activities.
