Got to sit at the beach and watch the sunset in the evening and sunrise in the morning. Ample street parking. Michael is an excellent and accommodating host. He responded to our inquiries and questions in a very timely manner and provided excellent instructions on how to access the property. And he even provided snacks upon our arrival. We took the golf cart out to a couple of local spots and it made our trip memorable and fun. I recommend visiting the seal sanctuary, Franklin Trail, Brass Bird Coffee, and Little Dom’s for dinner. We had trouble with the keypad at check in, but Michael was extremely responsive and had the issue remedied within minutes. The unit itself was exactly as pictured, sparkling clean, and had all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay, plus plenty of extras. Our kids loved the board games and beach toys! The location is great - just around the corner from the beach and an easy walk to shops and restaurants downtown. Would highly recommend! ##### Maia J. Oct 1, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Carpenteria Gem We had a wonderful stay at Sandyland - the suite was lovely, sparkling clean, well stocked and renovated beautifully with comfortable beds, great kitchen and living area, pretty patio and all that you might need for your stay with many thoughtful touches from the snacks waiting for us when we arrived to the awesome beach cart. The pool was great and the beach and ocean just steps from the patio. Michael was extremely helpful, kind and responsive - we would highly recommend staying here :) ##### Jennifer M. Honestly, couldn't ask for a better location. What was was most impressive, however was how Michael anticipated every possible need a guest might have. While we didn't end up cooking, the kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need (and more). The space was fully optimized. Extra towels are always appreciated. The wagon full of beach necessities was a lovely touch. Michael was a thoughtful and gracious host. Our expectations were exceeded. We look forward to returning. ##### laura g.
