The property was exactly as it was listed. The guest house was quaint and well kept. We had an issue with the WiFi but the host was very responsive and resetting the modem while we were out for dinner. We had a few ants that made their way into the property but the owner pointed us to some bug spray and we resolved that issue fairly quickly.
Nice guest house but the actual stay was a very poor experience .
This guest house is in very close proximity to the main house in the backyard of the main house. During the night we were staying there the main house had an alcohol fueled party in the backyard next to the guest house for a significant portion of the night which was extremely loud. My wife and I were not able to sleep due to the party. We photographed the dozens and dozens of empty beer cans left in the yard as well as all the lights still on in the morning in the back yard when we left at 5:30am. We reached out to VRBO and the owner regarding this situation. VRBO said there was nothing they could do as it was not a violation of their company’s policy parameters and suggested we should have called the police. The host did respond once but when I asked if he was responsible for the party he no longer responded to me or apparently the VRBO representative. So, Buyer beware. Also, honestly disappointed with VRBO’s policies clearly favoring the host over the guest in a situation like this.
