STAY AND PLAY The luxury ground floor Fairway View apartment includes our Club Room recreation floor complete with full bar and golf simulator.

Master bedroom, master bath (heated floors, toilets, and towel bars) chef's kitchen, patio with fire and water feature overlooking Talbots Winery & The Pocket Restaurant, elevator, additional automated queen bed custom built into the living room cabinetry, fireplace, 1–65 inch, + 1–55 inch flat screen TVs, refrigerator, and wine refrigerator.

9 x 14 foot Golf Simulator/MovieTheater/Presentation Screen/TV (and the ultimate babysitter), 65 of the best golf courses preloaded into the simulator so you can play Pebble Beach, Spyglass, and Spanish Bay before you tee up for the real thing. This distinctive feature also includes, but is not limited to interactive soccer, baseball, bowling, and a number of shooting games (trap, skeet, wild boar, duck, aliens). Full bar with two wine refrigerators, ice maker, regulation poker table, queen bed, full bathroom, additional 65 inch and 55 inch TVs.

Great place!

The property is located close to downtown Carmel and we walked everywhere. It was very comfortable and well-laid out. The guys really enjoyed the golf simulator!

Wonderful Stay & Staff

Had a wonderful time and was well taken care of at the Pocket Resident. It was very nice having the outside table and interacting with restaurant staff during our visit. Folks were more than accommodating and even took us to one of our events when we couldn’t secure an Uber. It was really hard to only give three stars overall, but two things docked a star each. One was providing already used hotel conditioner supplies and lack of wash clothes. The other was the amount of noise on the property. From the master, it sounded like if pressure differences was making creaking noises. Additionally, no fault of theirs, but the kitchen has to take out recycling right outside the bedroom so you’ll hear bottles being tossed. Should be fine with ear plugs, but also stinks to deal with. Thanks for everything!

Beautiful getaway

Property was fabulous! Perfect for the teens with the virtual game room down stairs. The heated floors in master bathroom and the extra comforts were game changing. Highly satisfied! Located perfectly with all shops and restaurants next door and a quick walk to beach. Didn’t need to use our car during our stay!

Awesome Family vacation

We had an amazing time on our family vacation to Carmel. The Pocket residence was in a perfect location walking distance to everything. The apartment was beautiful, welcoming and very comfortably accommodated our immediate and extended family members to be a central hub to hang out the entire duration of our stay. Everyone enjoyed the golf simulator and accompanying games as well! So fun!

Perfect Carmel getaway

We were traveling for a wedding, along with our three kiddos, and nanny. We couldn’t have found a more perfect place. Fantastic Girls Weekend!

Many thanks to Kent & Gary for the wonderful weekend! The property is absolutely gorgeous and easily accommodated our group of five. The location could not be better and the free parking in a secure lot across the street was incredibly convenient. I didn’t realize that we could also have dinner at The Pocket restaurant and a reservation was included with our stay – I wish I would have realized that as the restaurant was packed nightly and the dishes looked amazing! This was easily the best VRBO that I've ever seen. Both Gary and Kent were helpful when it came to the property and the area. The whole place was extremely clean and organized upon arrival. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Carmel!

Amazing

This property is absolutely beautiful with every amenity imaginable. The unit is spotless and so comfortable you will not want to leave. The owner is one of the most gracious and friendly I have ever had the pleasure of working with - he makes sure you are comfortable and enjoying your stay. The Pocket is a wonderful restaurant with lots of gluten free options for myself and daughter and we are celiac. I would recommend this property anytime! We can’t wait to come visit again and will definitely book at this property. One more note - the golf simulator is so much fun and the house is so tech advanced I fell in love. The ONLY place we will stay in Carmel

We travel frequently and rate The pocket residences among the best of the places that we have stayed. We had the fairway view and club room - it was perfect for my husband and I, his parents and our two teens. The “pull out” beds are a very fancy Murphy bed and are 1000% as comfortable as a bed. They have thought of every detail - the kitchens and bathrooms are top notch and the furniture is so comfortable ( my father in law already ordered the chairs for his study!) The location is perfect - one block from town and 5 min to the beach And to top it off the entertainment kept the whole family happy and laughing during any downtime The staff is easy to communicate with, very responsive and on top of every detail We can’t wait to return!

This AMAZING property made us want to learn how to play golf!

Highly recommend this new and luxurious property in the heart of Carmel. This is a place you could get quite spoiled with a private table reserved for you at the adjacent restaurant; the press of a button on house phone to request a margarita delivered to your door or enjoy the gracious hospitality of this 'attention to detail' host. We loved our experience so much, we booked a second stay during our first! Golf simulator was incredible; all we need next time is a private lesson to learn to hit the ball! Thank you.

Fabulous location, amazing residence and fantastic food!

My husband and I had a wonderful two night stay at this location and we can't wait to go back. It was the perfect getaway. The space was clean, comfortable, convenient and quiet and we loved it's location - easy to walk to the beach and along Ocean Avenue. We ate dinner our first night at the restaurant on site (The Pocket) and it was SO GOOD that we ate there again the second night. It is a special place and we will definitely return!
