We liked it all! Kevin and Kate have a wealth of knowledge having lived in the area for over 30 years. Kevin’s unique collection of vintage irons (the inspiration for the name of the charming place) and Kate’s fabulous breakfasts made for a fun and relaxing weekend. Our room was quaint and comfy and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The hospitality is unmatched. They were so nice and sweet, I would go back just for them! Then the inn itself was so unique and cozy! Antique irons on display, the rooms feel so nostalgic and then the breakfast. Great food and service. Coffee, orange juice, milk, sausage, toast, pancakes, and muffins. There is a reason the sign says muffin queen! We have always stayed in the local hotels. We were shocked by the current prices of the hotels that had available rooms. We were familiar with the hotels as we had stayed on previous visits to the county and knew the quality of the hotels did not merit a $200 per night stay. We decided to take a chance on this private residence and were pleasantly surprised. The bed was comfortable, room very clean and breakfast made to order was very good.
