Very nice classic hotel in the heart of Cannes

I stayed in a double city view room for 3 nights on business. This isn't a super modern hotel, rather a classic type. It was clean, had kettle and coffee machine in room along with a TV and good wi-fi. It didn't haven an ironing board, however i am sure if i had asked for one they would have provided. Breakfast was pretty basic, but had fresh fruit and pastries and cereals. Location wise it is perfect as right opposite the Palais and in the middle of shops, restaurants and bars. Train station less than a 5 min walk if you need it. However, easy enough to get Taxi's and Uber's.

I have walked past this hotel a million times. The building is one of the loveliest in the center of Cannes. The location is spectacular. I had a room with a balcony and a sea view which was superb. The room was quite small but very comfortable. If you are a petite woman, their bathtubs are possibly THE most comfortable in the world. I only stayed one night but I returned the next day to buy one of their perfect bathrobes. Due to the fact that it is showing its age, I would not rate it as a 5-Star hotel. I would rate it a 4.5. However, everything about it is splendid.

Great experience for a well-priced hotel right off the Croisette. I am staying at both an Airbnb and the Hotel Splendid during this visit to Cannes, but would opt to just stay at the hotel the entire time in the future. Great staff, perfectly spaced accommodations, and excellent location in the center of it all.
