Casa Creole - Private, Secure, Steps from the Beach

Unwind in this stunning Caribbean home just a few steps from the gorgeous Playa Grande, Cahuita. This house was loving built with a mix of local wood and modern touches. Enjoy the extremely private yard and gardens teeming with wildlife, outdoor cooking areas as well as modern indoor kitchen. This house is the best of both open air Caribbean style and modern comforts such as air conditioned bedrooms and fiber optic wi-fi.

This house is the perfect combination of indoor & outdoor living spaces.

The ground floor has an outdoor patio, dining table, and bar as well as an enclosed kitchen and full bathroom.

The second floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bath. Each bedroom has it's own AC unit and there is also an outdoor patio area to hang out and enjoy the beautiful garden views.

The fully fenced yard has an outdoor shower, private parking, and a wonderful outdoor kitchen/dining area to enjoy!

Along with the resident sloths that hangout in the almond tree, we have a resident outdoor cat named Minnette. She keeps all the critters away and is self-sufficient. Our management team ensures she is fed & healthy so you don't have to worry about a thing! We also see monkeys eat and play in the trees across the street, kinkajous and gorgeous birds. Hanging out on the second floor patio will ensure you see all sorts of wildlife!

Wonderful stay at Casa Creole

Casa Creole was outstanding for our week long visit in mid-November. The house is great for big or small groups with lots of outdoor lounging/party areas. The house is even better than the photos. All very clean and organized. Everything you need including shampoo and shower gel, linens, towels, etc. Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, tableware, etc. Great nine burner stove. The area is very quiet and a short walk to a small grocery store, multiple restaurants and the beach. And a ten minute drive into town. The property is secured with a locked gate. The resident cat, Minnett, was affectionate and cute. Twice we had a sloth in the tree right by the house. We were also visited by a large iguana and racoons. A troop of about 20 howler monkeys was across the street. Their calls are at first alarming because they are so loud, but the monkeys stay high the trees. The property managers were always available and responsive. We were greeted by one of their staff upon arrival and had a Whatsapp group to communicate with them. We have nothing but good things to say about Casa Creole and hope to return!

Unique property-jungle & beach

What a cool property! Loved the feel of our own bed and breakfast. Private and secure, quaint and quiet. The AC bedrooms definitely helped escape the hot days. Enjoyed Cahuita town very closeby. Great vibe!

Casa Creole was the ideal out of the way beach stay!

The house was just as described. Many thoughtful amenities. The sloth visited several times while we were there! Only a 5 minute walk to a very nice beach with fun waves to play in (wouldn't recommend for small children; the waves were powerful). We had a lovely, relaxing vacation and the caretakers could not have been more helpful. We saw lots of wildlife, heard the howler monkeys, and enjoyed the company of the cat.

Amazing vacation

We spent a wonderful week enjoying this beautiful house and property. We shared this property with Sloths, Tuscan’s and Monkeys. What a delightful place to spend our vacation. The house was so nice and spacious. Looking forward to our next trip back.

Traditional Build with modern upgrades

I really loved this house because it’s built in traditional Caribbean style and also has all the modern upgrades you’d want in a high end vacation rental property like A/C, modern appliances and a sweet Foosball table! You get the best of both worlds with open air living spaces and closed bedrooms. The property management team was friendly and responsive.

I found a beautiful corner of paradise here in Costa Rica!

Lovely place for a vacation from the exhausting world of teaching. I couldn't have asked for a more peaceful location surrounded by nature and all the comforts you need. The owners were very responsive and I felt well cared for during my stay. Will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful Home!

This house looks and feels like I thought Costa Rica would. Our stay here was delightful. We spotted monkeys in the tall trees on the other side of the wall surrounding the property. I liked having a solid tall wall for security and privacy. The beach is called Play Grande and it is indeed large and stunningly gorgeous. Walked for miles on soft sand seeing nothing but nature. Loved the town and hope to return. :)

Casa Creole is a must stay.

After booking a place online that I have never seen in a location where I've never been, I often set my expectations too high, maybe over romanticize my upcoming experience only to be disappointed. NOT THIS TIME! From the moment they opened the gate I was blown away! This gorgeous home exceeded my expectations. The beach is so peaceful. We only saw a surfer and couple of dogs while we were relaxing by the sea in the shade of an almond tree. The restaurant next door provided our meals so I didn't have to cook. Although the kitchen looked perfectly equipped, I opted for complete relaxation, which for me means being served and no dishes to wash. The open air living space allows you to see and hear all the wildlife coming through the property. The birds of the jungle are incredibly beautiful.
