Seems almost a lie to give 5 stars, as the view is 10 stars all on its own. Everything was outstanding (house was very clean and full of amenities) and while it is secluded, there are plenty things to do within a 20-30 minutes drive. Richard (host) was very helpful and quick to respond to questions. I am already planning for another booking here.
Absolutely stunning home with breathtaking mountain views! Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Perfect for a peaceful retreat. Highly recommend!
Gorgeous cabin, with beautiful mountain and lake views. We had all that we needed for the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Our host was amazing and gave us suggestions of where to eat and places to hike etc. It was a very relaxing and peaceful stay.
This was a very lovely property. You could tell that this was also someone’s home away from home because it showed in every detail. There was a very helpful and detailed binder with information on the cabin and its facilities. A lot of attention to detail and great hospitality. The views were breathtaking with wonderful sunsets over the lake. The owner was happy to keep in touch and was even willing to switch our dates due to an intense winter storm coming in. The only downside was the hot tub, which is a great size, but was not sheltered. We weren’t able to use it much due to the cold winds blowing. All in all, we enjoyed our experience and have decided to book again in the fall! Thank you for hosting us!
We had a great stay at this cabin. The deck was very spacious and clean and we were able to use the grill and enjoyed dinner out there. The hot tub was very clean and well maintained. The only drawback is the location as it’s at least 30 mins from the nearest town where you can get decent groceries and restaurant. Even though it’s weather, we still saw dead bugs (beetles, lady bugs, moths) on the window sill but that’s part of being in the nature. The view and the peaceful environment compensated for everything!
This home away from home was so much more than we were anticipating. The incredible vista was breath-taking awe inspiring! The weather made it different each day. The cabin was exquisitely fresh and clean with simple but well appointed decor. The kitchen had everything we needed. Much of our time was spent outside in the different seating areas on the multiple decks enjoying immersion in nature; love the swing! We left renewed and refreshed and would go back in a heartbeat. Rick was very pleasant and responsive.
The property is well stocked with essentials, the blackstone grill is easy to use, overall very clean. Lots of wildlife in and around the house. The porch is amazing! We saw bears, bucks, does, baby turkeys, snakes, and skunks. We will gladly choose to stay here again.
