The cabin was completed in June of 2012 and has 1500 sq. ft. of usable floor area. Thanks to its size and charm, it was recently used as a location for a major motion picture. It is equipped with a fully furnished kitchen (large electric range, dishwasher, and refrigerator with an ice maker), three doored bedrooms with Queen beds, a sleeping loft with a full bed (and a couch that makes into a full), two bathrooms (one upstairs and one down), a living room, and two flat screen TVs. The bedrooms offer comfy beds and large walk-in closets. Outside, there's a large warp-around deck boasting cozy rocking chairs (perfect for drinking in the beautiful, panoramic mountain views). A gas grill, picnic tables, and fire pit are all provided to help make your stay a memorable one. Dean was very gracious and helpful host. It was a peaceful setting with beautiful views of the mountains and wildlife in the meadow. We would sit out on the porch in the morning as the sun rose and listen to the small brook trickling by while drinking our coffee. The cabin with three separate bedrooms and a loft with additional beds was nice for our family and grandkids. The two bathrooms were furnished with towels and wash cloths. The view was beautiful!! We especially enjoyed the stars at night. The cabin had everything we needed!!! We grilled hamburgers and barbecue chicken and had a fire.
