Beautiful location overlooking the river. In the heart of everything. Friendly attentive staff. Clean well equipped rooms. Beautiful rooftop bar with amazing views.
Room was clean. We had an okay view of the river but view was somewhat blocked by the way the building is structured in the middle. Staff was very friendly. Loved the window seating too.
The hotel itself was very clean with a great exercise room to use. The location in the area was awesome. Very close to everything.
Totally enjoyed my stay there.
Our stay at Budapest Marriott Hotel was excellent. The location is perfect, the breakfast was outstanding, and the rooftop bar was absolutely amazing with a fantastic atmosphere and view.
We are leaving with a truly great experience and would happily stay here again.
The place is super clean. Staff/management cares about your needs and comfort. You're not treated as a customer but feels like a friend/family. Very welcoming. Staff also gave us an overview of the city. Very informative. Marriott got tje right people for the company. I love Marriott budapest. ❤️
This is a beautiful hotel located in the perfect spot looking over the Danube River to the Castle. At night the lights over the river are stunning! The room was clean comfortable and spacious enough. The bathroom was well equipped and the bed comfortable. We loved the rooftop bar and there were many areas in the foyer and outdoor patio that were lovely to enjoy a drink with great views. We found the hotel convenient to walk to many sites and there is a street filled with restaurants and shopping just behind the hotel. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
Great room. Spacious & clean. Great view. AC worked well. Breakfast was excellent.
Noise is an issue in this hotel. There is a “lively” scene late night on the riverfront. Loud techno music playing until midnight every single night including weeknights. Beyond the hotel’s control. Not of their doing, but guests suffer regardless.
Also, cleaning staff was boisterous & loud. If your arrive from abroad, expect to be woken up early AM by their cell phone calls & playing music in the rooms they are cleaning & loud hallway conversations. At least Elizabeth on the 8th floor was this way. Total disregard for the idea that hotels are for sleeping & not everyone is up/out by 8am
We were offered an upgrade on check-in and made the brilliant decision to treat ourselves. We upgraded to a Junior Suite which was on the sixth floor right on the front of the building with a balcony with widesweeping views on the Danube River and the castle on the other side. The views were breathtaking, the room was large and very special with everything that you could want. We loved it! As an addition to the upgrade we received admission to the M Club which gave us free drinks and food all day and a beautiful terrace to enjoy them on plus breakfast in the restaurant each morning which was also exceptional. We would highly recommend this hotel for location and quality and also recommend that you upgrade if you can as it was a real treat. The staff were also so helpful and lovely to deal with.
