Willow Pond is within a 5 minute drive to downtown Bryson City and a fifteen minute drive to downtown Cherokee. Perfect location for the "on the go" vacation or if you are just wanting to "chill" Willow Pond is the perfect spot for you. Willow Pond has a private spring fed pond on the property with a fire-pit near by for enjoying all that nature has to offer. The main living area gas fireplace, flat screen TV, and abundant windows that seemingly bring the outdoors in. It is located close to downtown but far enough to feel private. Close access to lots of trails, shopping and dining. I will definitely book this house again, simply for the location. The only issue with the house was the upstairs thermostat didnt seem to work very well so it was a bit warm. ##### Sarah B. The property has great potential but needs to be cleaned more thoroughly. The beds in the 2nd bedroom upstairs are poor quality. The kitchen was the area that needed a better cleaning. The pictures online make it look a lot nicer inside than what it truly was. We felt that the cleaning crew they use may need to have a little talking to in regards of what it means to be clean. Pros: The area was wonderful. It was private, a nice view and adequate space for all of us. Each family getting their own bathroom was a huge plus. It is close to Deep Creek, Cherokee and other fun things to do in this area. Bedrooms are spacious. Downstairs feels like another private area or great for all the kids! Fire pit area (bring your own chairs) Cons: We found trash under the sink as well as other areas. Dirty fridge (needs a good scrub). Floors were dirty. The linens for the downstair futons had stains on them (looked pretty rough). We washed them again because it was hard to believe they were clean in the first place. The hot tubs top seems to be old and rotting. There were pieces/debris falling off into the hot tub. We had a crazy ant issue. The first night we lost count how many ants we were stomping on. They were all over the counters in the kitchen and all through the dining and living room. Positive: we called the management company and they sent a guy out. This helped the issue immensely. We had about 10 more stragglers after that. It also could be because the trash can was now much more interesting than the house. It was nice that we didn’t have to deal with the major issue all vacation. Otherwise this would have been a 1 star review. The road leading the the house is one way (meaning two cars cannot pass). One time we had to back almost all the way out in order for them to get out. ##### Katie S. We hit Deep Creek (only a mile away), Fontana Lake( 20 min away) and the NOC (29 min away). The house was very cute with a great view of the mountains and a great place to relax before our next day of adventures! Highly recommend it! ##### Andrea V.
