The staff was very attentive and helpful. They made us feel welcome as soon as we entered the door . They grabbed our luggage and gave a brief tour of their beautiful boutique hotel. Made excellent recommendations on restaurants and attractions. The service was impressive . Breakfast was delicious and served in a gorgeous atmosphere whether inside or outside on the canal . Would definitely choose to stay there again .

The Van Cleef is absolutely exceptional: the staff are helpful and discreet; the breakfast is outstanding (especially if you eat on the terrace overlooking the canal); it is well situated; and the interior design of the public areas is very impressive. It felt like a trip back in time -- it was so individual, as if you were as guest in their home. I would recommend it without hesitation.

Brandon and everyone else working in tandem at this majestic property were phenomenal. I was traveling with a friend on this trip however, I will return with my spouse later this year and get a canal suite.The views from the lounge area are are amazing. It is so refreshing and relaxing! The Scale doesn’t go high enough to rate this hotel. C'est presque divin !
