"During our stay, sections were closed off due to construction. Booked the hotel for the children to use the pool, pool was closed. Could not find a different hotel to stay at. No offer for adjustment of cost due to the conditions"

"This hotel was under construction and we understand that, but it and seemed messy. The room had bugs on the wall, we even have pictures, but the nice lady at the desk said she couldn't help us bc we booked through a 3rd party so she couldn't do anything about it."

The resort features a marina, fishing charters, multiple dining venues, pools, and a variety of activities that make it a destination for the entire family. What stood out most was the attention to detail and the genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. Every team member we encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to make our stay memorable. If you're looking for a relaxing waterfront getaway in Maryland with incredible views, great amenities, and a true Chesapeake Bay atmosphere, I highly recommend Rod 'N' Reel Resort.
