I was in Brisbane needing to move between Southbank and Boondall (Brisbane Entertainment Centre). The two rooms we stayed in were clean, kitchen was well stocked with cutlery, stove top, microwave, toaster, electric kettle etc, plus washing machine and clothes dryer, and the garbage chute on the floor to dispose of rubbish. One bonus was being allowed to check-in slightly early and the cheap car parking.
