Stayed at Legends whilst the Great Escape festival was on. The hotel is in a perfect location, right on the sea front. Breakfast was good and the staff really friendly. Our room was very small but adequate for what we needed. The bar below was very loud on the Friday and Saturday nights until very early in the morning. If you want a decent nights sleep I’d avoid the first floor rooms at the front above the bar area.

Legends is a lovely old seafront hotel with welcoming and helpful staff, and the room i was in was charming and modern. The only problem i had was that my room key card kept forgetting how to open my door, but the staff were always available and happy to help. There is a nightclub in the hotel, but from my room there was barely any noise, so i slept well!

The property was located 3xceptionally clean and in good repair. My only slight issue was that TV didnt work but to be fair i was to.lazy to go to the reception abd ask for assistance.

Rooms good and staff helpful. (when you find someone for reception). Location convenient as well served by buses.and choices for breakfast comprehensive. However it is very noisy at night due to.a very late bar..This was not flagged up.in.the.description and was v disturbing on the first floor so you.need to ask to.to go much higher up. Also the fire alarm went off at midnight and was not handled well - -only a few guests evacuated to.be told (eventually) it was a false alarm.Most guests and.saff had ignored this.OK for a false alarm.but what if it hadn't been?

We were sorry that your rest was disturbed and that you feel let down. Whilst our team did react proportionately this should have come across better. Regrettably the actions of a selfish guest smoking caused the alarm to sound - these things always happen at night and we understand how impactual they are, for all concerned. Legends is right next to all the popular gay venues in Brighton plus is has cabaret every night and a club open weekends so no matter the weather you have everything you need only a small hop away. The staff are brilliant making you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble, the service is exemplary, and the rooms are a nice size with all the facilities you need for your stay. I have stayed there a few times now and have never been disappointed.

Great location just off the ocean. Close to Brighton Pier and bus station to The Lanes. Breakfast worth the money. Lift small but does the job.

I have stayed at the hotel many times. I just thought the service at breakfast wasnt good . There was no good morning.or how was your stay.no general chat.i asked to change my cooked breakfast instead of bacon to have extra fried egg it just seemed to much trouble for the guy .staying Just felt uncomfortable for meals.i was staying 4 nights. So i went else where for meals.apart from that everythink was ok.

Highly recommended. Excellent hotel
Excellent hotel, full of happy, positive people who assisted me from the moment I arrived, directing me to the nearest available parking zones and holding my bags for me whilst I parked. I was also directed on enquiry to an excellent local trattoria where I had a fabulous and reasonably priced dinner. The world would be a better if it was populated with more people like the staff here. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the shower terrific.

Not A Hotel!
This hotel should be listed as a club with sleeping rooms. Not a hotel. Incredibly loud. The hotel 'parties' till 4am. The ear plugs provided does not soften the vibration coming from the club. I barely slept. Imagine being in a frat house and trying to rest. The boys behind the bar were not interested in helping me find a gym . When i found one RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET his response was ' well I wouldn't know anything about that'. The one shining spot was the lady who was there in the morning. Think French. Very helpful, very hospital. Wonderful. Was able to help me with my phone charging issues. And some coffee. I hope she finds better employment .The rest are only obviously interested in that alternative lifestyle which i am familiar. So not hating on the vibe. But this is business first and not a continuous party. So buyer beware. YOU WON'T SLEEP! Unless you go to bed at 6am.

This is a poor review and at such a joyous time of year. Whilst we are sorry your rest was disturbed, for a three night stay we are unsure why you did not ask reception to move you up the hotel. That aside we make it crystal clear that Legends is a busy and vibrant venue with a large bar and basement club so we make no apology for this as it is about each guest choosing a hotel which will meet their needsSo we are not going to agree with your assessment but nonetheless would hasten to offer you best wishes for Christmas
