Walk to Giant Steps Ski Lift! Our condo in the Brianwood complex is walking distance to quad express Giant Steps Ski Lift at Brian Head resort for ski-in/ski-out access. It is also next to the new Brian Head lake/pond which makes for a great recreational spot in the summer. Brian Head is one of the most kid friendly ski resorts we have been to and our kids love spending time here. The lake is stacked with trout in the summer and makes for a great fishing spot. You’ll love the comfy beds with nice new mattresses, new smart TVs, the coziness, fully equipped kitchen, high ceilings and amazing views. We have a wood burning fire place and a remote controlled infrared one in the living area. We have 1 king, 2 queen and 2 twin beds with three full baths and can accommodate 8 people but up to 9 with the couch. Brian Head is just a few miles from Cedar Breaks and about an hour from Bryce Canyon National Park and approximately an hour and a half from Zion National Park. Brian head also offers snowmobile and off road rentals and provides a number of great mountain biking trails. After a great day on the slopes or at one of the national parks return to your 'home away from home.' Warm up by the fireplace as you admire the breathtaking views, or just unwind on the comfortable, cozy, brand new beds (and mattresses), while you enjoy one of our four flat-screen SMART TVs with all the entertainment at your fingertips, from cable TV to Roku to Netflix and more. There will be no fighting over the remote and everyone in your group/ family can retreat with their favorite shows on their own TV screen. We have some board games in the living room in the center table unit. You are also within walking distance from the Brian Head grocery store and the restaurants next to Giant Steps including the Last Chair Saloon and Pizzano's Pizzeria. You will love the functional, open kitchen with an oven, stove, microwave, a coffee machine, kettle, refrigerator, and basic pots and pans. Came up with my wife and kids and a brother with his kids (they stayed up the road). This was one of the best VRBO places we've ever stayed. The 3rd floor is a bit of a hike, but not a problem for us. The condo was great with plenty of room. This is probably the first time at all the places in Brian Head where we didn't have constant problems with WIFI, which was a really nice surprise. Ski In/Ski Out would have been nice, but we found we needed a vehicle each day anyways, so it didn't change our access to the mountains. Would be excited to stay here again. One item I did not see is that the condo is on the third floor and there are no elevators which makes it difficult for older people or if you have a lot of gear you need to take up and down the stairs every day. We rented in the summer and the price for the 3 bedroom 3 bath condo was great. The condo is older and has 1980s decorations, is quite worn but nothing bad, just nothing new and fancy. For instance, halfway through our stay, the front door lock would not accept our code as required to lock from the outside. I contacted the host about this, but never received more than an automated response. Fortunately, we figured out that removing and then reinserting the batteries reset it so we could lock the door. We had to do this each time we left. Perhaps the batteries are running low. Thankfully, we had no issue unlocking. Overall I was satisfied for the price paid. But for the price it was all right the outside of the building was Beautiful nice little lake and a lot to play for kids . But he told us the day before we were leaving that there was not going to be. He said he would give us a $50 refund if we kept our reservation. He never gave it to us. When we got there the roof was leaking so bad that we had to put pans to catch the water and the debris coming off the ceiling. Although we didn’t cook or eat at the condo, plenty of dishes etc were provided. The owner communicated very well letting us know how to check-in, heat and/or cooling instructions, check-out instructions, wi-fi information and TV info. The WELCOME book on the living room table did say there should be another book on the counter which there was not!! Did have to call a couple of times about how to access the Jacuzzi. Refrigerator wasn’t working properly but found the small refrigerator in the living room which was fine. No elevator was hard as we had a wheelchair bound child but took turns carrying him up the stairs which he thought was quite fun!! Teenagers enjoyed having their own space upstairs. After seeing the first review mentioning a broken fridge over 2 MONTHS before our stay, I messaged the host 6 days before our arrival to see if it was fixed. We arrived to find a note on the fridge that it didn't work. The host finally replied the day after we arrived and their only response was that the freezer was working and they couldn't get a new fridge delivered until May (2 more months). I suggested at least supplying a dorm fridge, which I think they may have ordered. 1\* for poor communication and inaccurate listing/no notice about an ongoing issue. The condo had quite a few broken and missing items - missing stove knob, missing vertical blinds, some ceiling fans that didn't work, most pans very scratched, ripped couch, smoke detector gaping open with no battery. No gas grill which was included on the listing and the washer/dryer weren't in the unit but were onsite. On the plus side, the condo was clean and pretty well stocked, the layout was comfortable for 4 adults and 4 teenagers, and the location was an easy walk to Giant Steps lift. We appreciated having an upstairs TV for the teenagers and streaming options on the TVs. If the fridge worked I would've rated it 3\*. ##### Amy H. The location of the condo was very convenient. We were near the pond for fishing and a short walkable distance to restaurants and country store. The walkup to the unit was shorter than stated in previous reviews and stairway was inside. There were three large bedrooms and 3 full baths in this condo.
