We were not disappointed in anyway. Comfortable bed, couch; loved the fireplaces. We were a few weeks early I suppose since the weather was still pretty cold and windy. Excellent stay with only one cavoite: be aware that the driveway down to the apartment can be a bit intimidating the first few times in so be cautious if you have a big truck. The amenities available throughout (especially the kitchen) went far up and beyond. We stayed for 10 days. Did some of our own main meal cooking and anything I needed was there. Not only were the usual coffee and shower items available but there was sugar, flour, half & half, creamer etc. And the bed was an extremely comfortable king size. We also enjoyed sitting out on the deck, saw 2 fawns and a mother deer. Also ate lunch and dinners on it. Incredibly refreshing stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. This retreat is a delightful respite at the end of the day, where you can put your feet up, relax, and plan the next day's activities. It is a lovely spot less than 5 minutes to downtown Brevard, yet it feels secluded looking out into the trees. They provided everything we could think of, including shampoo/conditioner, coffee makings, sparkling grape juice, guest book, numerous TV options, and cloth napkins.... The full kitchen (including icemaker in the fridge) came in handy the one night we ate in (S&P, garlic salt there). The only tricky thing about the TV setup was that the Roku controller volume/mute buttons are on the side of the controller--don’t let it fool you.
