This is my second stay at The Martello, and I absolutely love it! The atmosphere, facilities, beautiful views, and fantastic location make it such a lovely place to stay.
The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended, especially for solo travellers!
I’ll definitely be back! ❤️
We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The only setback was the loud music which went on 3 AM. Besides that the staff went above and beyond the call of duty.
Location to the beach and to the train station was perfect for us.
Good food and spotlessly clean.
Friday night exam results and party atmosphere! A bit noisy !
We checked in at about 1 am, there was a number to call to get the doors opened to check in, so if traveling make sure you have a working phone to dial the number. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. There is live music and operating bar/restaurant down at the ground floor. We were on the first floor and didn’t hear much or anything coming from below. I would recommend Martello if you’re staying in Bray
Staff was very kind, property is in a prime location, crosss from the beach, close to train, has a bar, live music, restaurant. Can be loud at night, but they do have rooms in the back which are quiet. Rooms in the hotel can be very small ans noise from the live music.
In the back very large quie rooms
Apartment was spacious and clean, employees friendly. Wifi signal was weak so it didn't really work (a problem when you're trying to make other travel arrangements), the oven controls were dodgy and took some manipulation to work, no oven mitts provided. Fans in room were appreciated. There were a lot of slamming doors from other rooms starting as early as 5:30 in the morning, perhaps they could put something on the doors to prevent that as it's very loud. Pub area has unpleasant smell. Location good, near Dart and coast. Train noise not a problem.
Location and the bar and restaurant where fantastic. The rooms are ok just basic but done the job. The WiFi is non existent. Didn't work the whole 2 days we where there. The room we where in was so noisy outside. Was a loud fan making noise all night
Was a fun place to stay. Has a restaurant and several bars. It’s right on the beach. Room was clean. The only downside was parking. It was on the street and if you weren’t out by 8:30 am you had to pay.
