« The property was ideal for a base to visit the surrounding area. Our bedroom and the property generally was clean and tidy. The owner and staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was fine but the 'help yourself' fruit in the dining area was not fresh. Parking could be an issue near the hotel but our disability parking permit helped. »

« This is a converted coaching inn at the junction of a few roads. Easy parking, good breakfasts and dinners, plenty of character. A bit of a downside if you’re a light sleeper with the traffic and kitchen exhaust system. Otherwise, easy place to stay. »

« Excellent place to stay with dogs as you are self contained with an area to walk them away from the main road. Facilities good, we had a lovely garden cottage - only downside are the doors are built for hobbits (I’m a little over 5ft and had no issues, 6ft + hubby cracked his head once… »

« The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff were helpful. Parking was in front of the hotel, off the main street. The village had a few shops and a large town nearby. The hotel has a river at the bottom of the grounds which was lovely to sit near. »

« Lovely accommodation booked at short notice to attend a local wedding. It was perfect and the everyone was so helpful even when we arrived far too early and needed to change! Super comfy bed! Thanks. Highly recommend. . »

« The best part was the breakfast, very good and very polite individual. The room was cold, no hot water to shower, no one around to solve the issue. All in house amenities not in use. No bar. No service, no contact. It's 2 miles from town, so taxi us essential. It's the sort of place that picture perfect... But you'll only go once. Sorry for the bad review, almost recovered by the polite service and lovely breakfast. »
