My room was lovely and large with great light and views. The dark wood floors, trim and doors throughout the house are magnificent and well maintained. The common areas are comfortable and well decorated and the kitchen well stocked. The bathroom was great, While sharing a bathroom can be a drawback, it was not an issue for me. I was there for two weeks in January 2025\. I stayed in the Sanctuary Room on the third floor. It was spacious, had a firm mattress excellent for sleeping, and an sitrimg area. The shared bathroom was clean and well-appointed with a lovely modern glass walled shower and nice tiles. The shared kitchen had all the amenities needed to cook (which I did a lot). Lovely living and dining room and washer/dryer also available.The house has beautiful wood paneling and details while also having great modern amenities. The host Charles was very responsive to questions.It is also very well located to get to other places in the Boston area. Ubers were inexpensive and easily available for a trip I took to Concord and some other places. There is a great YMCA down the street which I joined for 53 for the month. It has a large clean swimming pool, yoga and other classes and a nice clean gym. This was an unexpected bonus.I highly recommend the Pershire House. ##### Pamela K. I appreciated the stay as it was clean and the instructions were clear upon entry, however I would not recommend this VRBO to those lugging heavy bags! There are many tight staircases you will have trouble hauling up heavy bags on. If you are carrying lightweight backpacks or handbags and don’t mind the climb, it is a nice and quiet stay.
