The Inn is a perfect place to stay. The rooms are so nicely decorated and unique. The property is easy to navigate and the bathrooms are very well appointed as well. I always stay here when I’m not staying in downtown Boston.
A wonderful old inn a short drive or walk from the Battle Green. Super staff went out of their way to help. We ate dinner tweice in the restaurant. Good food and service, even on the night with just a bar menu in off season.
Buildings were historic and unique. Staff was extremely friendly. Recommend a stay if you are looking for something in the Lexington area. Even downtown Boston for that matter. Boston is only a quick 20 minute ride away.
Great location. Since they offer complementary use of bicycles, was able to bike to work. Their service was amazing, they even had the bike out and ready in the morning. Nice views and near everything. Found the people so friendly. Everyone says, "Good morning, etc". Normally stay in another town, thinking of staying here in the future!
Waited 2 years to stay based on a friend’s recommendation and photos. Could not make a reservation at night and was told manager would call me in the morning. No return call after my 2nd attempt. Decided to stay in Boston at fairmont due to this. With rain At the end of our 10 day trip my husband thought this property would be better for my physical needs due to recent injury. Thought we could just “stay in” and use this amazing property’s amenities. ie dining with the fireplace (the hyped dining was a big draw as I have stayed at other R&C properties), the bar, sitting areas etc. i made a last min res for the next 2 days on hotels.com because it was again nighttime. Got a great deal. Called arriving day to make dinner res and found out NO DINING at all on our first day (so then had to go out for dinner in the weather to a terrible overpriced Italian rest). No bar, no dining, no enjoying the house as it is meant to be. (Did have bar on 2nd night after another terrible meal out) Hotel had a limited cold plate dinner menu) Asked for an upgrade because of lack of amenities that were expected (and was almost empty) - told no since we booked 3rd party. LOL I was forced to book that way at night.Did send a bottle of champs for our anniversary to room. Did not refresh breakfast with over 35 min left - told no to another croissant after waiting for yoghurt to be made. Said was too late. Trays empty next morning so paid for breakfast and left 3 hrs early. Front staff super nice.
They are just amazing. They truly see to your every need here. I would highly recommend staying here.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Room comfort
Cute setting but extremely overrated
I booked a hotel with a restaurant intentionally, but the restaurant wasn't open at all during my stay. I'm allergic to down bedding, and the room was full of it. Not just the bedding, but the chairs too. I'm surprised an inn located in woke little Lexington still uses bedding and furniture stuffed with animal cruelty which many of us are extremely allergic to as well. Will, the hotel agent, was SUPERB and a delight.
The hotel is gorgeous and so very comfortable. We used the hotel bikes to cycle around the area which is really fabulous. Breakfast is lovely and all the staff are very friendly
Was greeted at the front desk being asked "Would you like a glass of champagne to take to your room?" Very nice room, beautiful bathroom. Very close to Town Green and shopping.
Immaculate property and excellent service in this gorgeous, welcoming gem within easy walking distance of the Lexington Battle Green! We loved the cozy room and warm hospitality, can’t wait to come back to enjoy this treasure in the Spring!
