It was a few minutes from the City witch mall and the pedestrian shopping. Also within the same distance to the trolley stop (which I highly recommend). Run by the kindest people (and friendliest cats!) in all of Salem, and could not possibly be more centrally located! You can walk everywhere from here, and you have a front row seat to any events in the square - it's literally right across the street. Parking in Salem is at a premium, and we are driving a crew cab truck to make it even worse, but Matt went WELL above and beyond to make sure we got a great spot. Do note - it's a lovely old house, but like most old houses, it does have steps, and they are steep. Easily navigable, but being able to go up and down steps is a must. The house is rich with history and the owners were lovely. They offered a low key breakfast in the mornings with deliciously brewed coffee. They also have two adorable resident cats who had fun interacting with the guests. The added perk was the property’s two adjacent parking spots located next to the home on the dead-end side street, otherwise a complimentary parking pass was provided to store your vehicle less than a block away in the public garage.
