## THE APARTMENT

Stay in Bordeaux in this splendid apartment recently renovated! With a capacity of 4 persons, this beautiful apartment will offer you a comfort and a quality of stay to discover the city in all tranquility.

Located on the 1st floor of a historical building with beautiful stone, enter this loft-style apartment, combining modernity and authenticity, especially thanks to its exposed stone and glass windows offering a warm luminosity.

The living space has a TV corner with a convertible sofa, a bar table and stools as well as a fully equipped kitchen.

The bedroom on the ground floor has a double bed (140cm) with direct access to the bathroom, which has an Italian shower and a vanity unit.

You can also enjoy a rooftop terrace overlooking the rooftops of Bordeaux, offering a sofa and 2 armchairs, ideal for having breakfast or an aperitif in the sun after a day of sightseeing.


## DEPOSIT

As part of your rental, a bank imprint of €350 is required and must be made via your Enso Connect accommodation guide. Please note that an additional administration fee of €4.50 applies.
The hold does not affect your credit card limit and is automatically cancelled within two days of your departure, subject to compliance with the general terms and conditions of sale and the accommodation being returned in perfect condition.

Take the tram A from the stop " Aéroport de Mérignac " to the stop " Hôtel de Ville " then walk 6 minutes.

From the St Jean train station:
Take the bus 1 from the stop " Gare St Jean " to the stop " Palais de Justice " and walk 7 minutes or take the tramway C from the stop " Gare St Jean " to the stop " Place de la Bourse " and walk 11 minutes.

To park your car, parking on the streets is free only from 7pm to 9am as well as on Sundays and public holidays.
The apartment does not have a car park, the public car park " Clemenceau Auditorium " is located 350 meters from the apartment.
The price for parking is 30€ for the day.

Fantastic space and location

Our stay in Bordeaux was wonderful. Martyna the host was very accommodating and checked in multiple times to make sure our stay was going well. The apartment is in a central location, making it easy to get around with children. We were there when it was 38 out and were happy to have ac.

Wonderful location

Lovely apartment, very close to town centre but in a very quiet street. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace. Unfortunately we had very poor communication from the company managing the apartment, so it took us some time to find where it was and to actually get in.

A beautiful apartment in a beautiful location

We were originally thinking of staying in a hotel in Bordeaux but then decided an apartment would give us more space, freedom and flexibility. We looked through a LOT of apartments and narrowed it down to three, all lovely and similarly priced, but as well as the private roof terrace and air conditioning, the location of this one looked perfect so whilst it was a little pricier, we decided it was worth it. And it most definitely was! The apartment is beautiful; lovely and airy with plenty of storage space and all mod cons in the kitchen area including microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine. There is an iron, vacuum cleaner and even a washing machine all hidden away in clever storage in the entrance hall. The roof terrace is lovely although very bright and hot in the day (there is no parasol although a few other reviews mention that this would be good and we agree) but it was beautiful to be able to sit up there in the evening with 'un petit verre'. And it was super quiet up there too, considering you're right in the middle of the city, close to restaurants and shops, We stayed in early June and it was HOT so we were very thankful for the air conditioning, particularly at night when it still stayed pretty warm. You couldn't ask for a better location for easy access to both in the city centre and the surrounding areas. There is so much to see and do within walking distance of the apartment but there are also plenty of cheap and efficient trams and buses really close by if you want to go further afield. We took a Lonely Planet guide which was brilliant but the local Tourist Office is less than 10 mins away and they everything you need to know (and perfect English!) One thing to be aware of is the apartment is on the first floor (about 12 stairs) and there isn't a lift so heavy luggage may be tricky, but that aside, we would highly recommend this apartment as the perfect place to stay and enjoy beautiful Bordeaux.

Je viens de passer 3 semaines dans l'appartement est il y'a beaucoup à dire sur mon expérience. Le positif : - emplacement en pleine rue piétonne en plein centre ville, proche de tout et des transports - Rue calme (si on occulte le passage des poubelles chaque soir entre 23h et 0h et ma chance d'avoir l'appartement juste en face en travaux :) ) - Appartement propre, pierre apparente et original dans sa conception - La terrasse enfin si on peut l'utiliser (voir ci-dessous) - la gentillesse des personnes qui sont venus faire de la maintenance (et j'en ai eu en 20 jours de séjours) Le 'à améliorer' - Pas de four et la cuisine très petite pour cuisiner vraiment. (désolé je cuisine pas au micro-onde) - le mobilier en terrasse est inadapté, dès qu'il pleut, les éléments mettent des jours à sécher et rien ne permet de protéger le mobilier pour jouir pleinement de la terrasse - un canapé lit au confort relatif et inutilisable en mode lit car pas de linge de lit fourni (malgré la souscription de l'option supplémentaire à la pratique limite on en aprle plus bas) - l'évacuation de l'évier de la salle de bain est à améliorer, se remplit très vite. - le vitrage est correct sans non plus une bonne isolation sonore. Cependant la rue est relativement calme Le 'à changer et rapidement' - Aucune procédure d'arrivée et départ de communiquée j'ai du me débrouiller pour aller à la pêche aux informations. Bien sûr personne au départ ou à l'arrivée. - Le sens/manque de communication de la part de la société de gestion de l'appartement. Le sens du service mérite grandement une petite révision. Mon expérience Evacuation de douche bouchée, TV de la chambre non fonctionnelle et changée qu'au bout de 10j, 4 jours sans internet car la box a grillée... En résumé appartement qui satisfera les moins exigeants et les cours séjours mais pas adapté pour les longs. Prestations très chers pour la réalité.

Nice apartment but bad last minute surprise

Note that if you stay in this apartment, you will have to pay 53euro last minutes to have bedsheet and towels. If you don’t do so, don’t forget to bring them with you! This information is not mention when you book the place. Really disappointed as you feel trapped.

Highly recommended

Lovely character apartment perfectly located for exploring the fabulous city of Bordeaux. Very clean and well apportioned, perfect for the four of us. Too hot to use the roof terrace on this occasion (mid July 2022 heat wave), except for very early in the morning, c'est la vie! Air conditioning worked extremely well; it was essential for a good night's sleep. Loved the architecture of Bordeaux and all the cafes and restaurants. Sightseeing highlights were Les Bassins des Lumières, Contemporary Art Museum and Cite du Vin, and we were lucky enough to stumble on a fabulous Vivaldi concert. Spent a lovely afternoon relaxing on the beach at the southern end of Le Lac. Got everywhere by public transport, it was amazingly efficient and cheap. Highly recommend Bordeaux and this apartment for a 5 to 7 day holiday.

Bordeaux Bliss

Superb accommodation in the heart of Bordeaux on a quiet street near bustling avenues of restaurants and shops. Fully contained apartment on the top 3 floors of a 4 story house with complete privacy. Unit has great AC (not that common in France) and WiFi. Rooftop terrace with views of the spires of St. Andres make for wonderful evenings sipping the fruit of the region. Recommend for couples or party of 4 if 2 people don’t mind sleeping on a sofa bed (kids). Main bedroom has a great bed and I’m picky as I have a bad back. Thoroughly enjoyed and heartily recommend.

1. The apartment is spread over three floors and there is extensive use of stairs, no elevator. From the building entrance to bedroom/bathroom 20 steps, then 20 steps to kitchen/living area, then 14 steps to rooftop alfresco. There was no indication of layout on the Booking.com website. 2. There were no English written instructions on how to operate the washing machine which displayed a 3hr minimum cycle. 3. There was no English written visitor information or maps of Bordeaux. 4. Cooking utensils and equipment was lacking, no toaster, no butter knives. It appears to be set-up for French visitors only.
