The Space The breathtaking mountain view is the star of the show, best enjoyed from the rocking chairs on the expansive deck. Inside, the great room welcomes you with a magnificent floor-to-ceiling stone wood-burning fireplace and soaring tongue-and-groove ceilings with cherry hardwood floors. Your group's chef will feel right at home in the spacious, well-equipped kitchen. Share meals together at the kitchen table for 8 or in the formal dining room with seating for 10\. For an authentic mountain experience, fire up the BBQ grill for an al fresco meal in the outdoor dining area, or gather around the fire table under the stars. I loved the property so much and Staci was so responsive, that when our family wanted to do Thanksgiving in the mountains, I had just the spot. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you need to cook for your family. The family room is large and perfect for playing board games and watching movies. Location was ideal (15 minutes to App State depending on time of day). Views were amazing. Access to the Blue Ridge minutes away but honestly, the home gives you an amazing view with wildlife and a small farm peppering the landscape. If we hadn’t had to leave to get our daughter at ASU, we could have spent every minute in the home. The deck was perfect place to just soak it all in. NO GATES which if you have young kids, makes it a stressless escape in fresh air. We never got a chance to use either the indoor or outdoor fireplace, but they were ready to go. Our 3 y/o was entertained for HOURS by the toys in the loft. A big win in our book. The kitchen was perfect. I love to cook/ entertain and I could have spent more time staring out that kitchen window. The host was super responsive to questions, and even though we had zero issues with our stay, I am sure she would have been right on top of it. Each bedroom was well equipped. Furniture was solid (not always the case which is why I mention it). Mattresses were good. Solid night sleep all around. We had from 3 to 81 and everyone had a space to retreat to if necessary but most of our time was spent in the massive kitchen eating and laughing. We were concerned with access but the roads were a gradual grade and the driveway was paved so I am sure that helps in inclement weather. We will be looking forward to another trip to Outlaws’ Haven. ##### Timothy B. We had 10 ladies 55 and over staying here for a tennis event. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and had everything we needed. The pictures do not do this house justice! It was a “wow” when we walked in! The spacious living area and kitchen were great for the 3 families that stayed here for a weekend of skiing. The owners were very responsive. The beds were all very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked. We wish it was warmer to be able to spend some time on the huge deck with nice views!
