Welcome to Peachtree Ridge, the Blue Ridge Mountains' newest and North Carolina's most impressive luxury vacation home. Set atop the Eastern Continental Divide and built on 4 private acres of beautiful mountain terrain, Peachtree Ridge is a 10 bedroom, 8300 square foot custom mountain house. You'll find over 2500 feet of deck space to enjoy and an abundance of privacy, in addition to the long range panoramic mountain views from every corner of the property. \*Driving Distance\* 6.9 miles to ASU campus/downtown Boone/Kidd Brewer Stadium 5.4 miles to downtown Blowing Rock 4.4 miles to Tweetsie Railroad 5.9 miles to Appalachian Ski Mtn 3.9 miles to Mystery Hill 1.9 miles to Blue Ridge Parkway Entrance 5.9 miles to Boone Golf Club 19 miles to Hawks Nest Tubing and Ski Resort 21 miles to Sugar Mountain Ski Resort 27 miles to Beech Mountain Ski Resort As you walk into the house, the grand entryway leads to the open floor plan main floor, with the oversized family room. In addition to the views, the family room has a gas fireplace and and connects to the large chefs kitchen and dining area. With seating for 18 at the table and additional 10 at the bar, families of any size can enjoy the space. The south end of the main level also contains two of the houses 10 bedrooms. Both of these rooms have king beds, and en suite, private baths. One of these bedrooms has exceptional views of the mountains off the back of the house. The second has easy access to both the front door and family room. On the southern side of the main level is one of Peachtree Ridge's two game rooms. The space has a wet bar and numerous games to keep you entertained for hours. Choose from pool, shuffleboard, skee ball, bubble hockey, foosball, as well as an assortment of arcade games on the cocktail arcade machine. This room also has a walk out to one of the houses two outdoor fireplaces and long range mountain views. For convenience, you'll find a half bath located between the game room and the kitchen. Continuing to the upper level, you'll find 4 of the home's bedrooms. The two on the south end of the house each contain king beds and and share a Jack and Jill, full en suite bath. The two on the east (front) of the house, both have king beds, one of the two has a flat screen TV, and each have a private, en suite bath. As you continue to the northern wing of the top floor, you'll find Peachtree Ridge's second game room. This room is directly above the main level game room and is partially open to below. You'll find additional games up here, such as air hockey, an assortment of arcade games, pop-a-shot basketball, and more! To move between the two gamerooms, there is a staircase conveniently located near the front of the house, or take the slide, built into the wall, that runs between the top level and main level game rooms. The lower level of the house has Peachtree Ridge's remaining 4 bedrooms. One of the private suites has a king bed, and the other has two sets of queen over queen bunk beds (four queen beds total), these two rooms share a large bathroom. The other rooms are likely to be the choice of any kids traveling with the group. A two level, 800 square foot playhouse, built into the lower level provides more than just sleeping accommodations for our younger guests. There are kid-sized rooms within the playhouse with a twin-size bed in each. Also within the playhouse is an assortment of games, and a tube slide going between the two levels of the playhouse. The lower level also contains a second living room, complete with direct patio access, In the southeast corner of the level, we have a 20 seat movie theatre with big screen tv. The Northern side of the lower level houses Peachtree Ridge's spa. Relax in our built in steamroom or sauna, set an appointment with one of our mobile masseuse partners in the private massage area, or just relax in one of our massaging loungers and take in the views. The spa also has easy access to the outdoor hot tub, and the lower levels outdoor fireplace if you need to recharge after your massage. As incredible as the house itself is, it will be tough to spend all your time inside, with the mountain air and panoramic views around the property. There is over 2500 sq foot of deck space to enjoy, with an abundance of seating. Gather around one of the two built in fireplaces, enjoy the oversized hot tub, or cook a family dinner using the grill or pizza oven provided. In addition to the countless amenities at Peachtree Ridge, we take pride in our hospitality above all else. The house was exceptional and had wonderful amenities. The kitchen was well stocked and even had a few spices and oils for cooking left from previous guests. The beds were super comfortable. We were there during December and the snowfall did make it difficult to get in and out of the secondary roads leading to the house. We had a minor issue with the smoke alarm going off in the movie theater room but it was taken care of promptly. Amazing views, huge well-stocked kitchen, hot tub, sauna, steam room, movie theater, and all the games! Eight couples and a toddler stayed three nights for a family wedding. We found 14 white folding chairs in the front closet to set up on the deck for the ceremony, which began at 6:30pm just as the sun dipped below the treeline. It was gorgeous. Beds were very comfortable with nice sheets and covers and plenty of pillows. The main floor was a perfect place for us to gather as there was plenty of seating and tables both indoors and out and wonderful views! After dark, we enjoyed sitting on the u-shaped couch with pillows and throw blankets for all.We did all our cooking there and enjoyed the counter seating and large island rep area. However, we really could have used the second dishwashing machine which was out of order upon our arrival and was not fixed during our stay. Additionally, we had planned on making a small number of pizzas, but the pizza oven did not light. It was an electronic ignition switch, and we used an extension cord to try to get it to light, but to no avail. We made the pizza on the flat iron grill and it was ok. We had several other issues (for example, HDMI cord for dvd player was missing, but property management got us a new one) , so I would say that visitors should not count on having everything in absolute working order as there are so many electronic devices that perhaps that is to be expected.? So, we had some issues, but we worked with the property manager who was very responsive . Overall, we felt the property was slightly under 5 stars due to having only 1 dishwasher. ##### Jacqueline A. Just as described on the website. Very clean. The movie theatre was fantastic. We all gathered (13) in the theatre 3 of the 4 nights. Complimentary candy was much appreciated. Game room was also enjoyed nightly. Kitchen was well stocked. There was nothing that we needed that wasn’t supplied. We cooked in every night and used the grill and flat stone. Would go back again. It was in a great location My only critique is that since daily cooking was required, a list of equipment would have been nice so we could bring what was not available. Also, had issue with kitchen towels and paper towels. For twenty people we were given 2 Terry towels and 1 roll of paper towels, as well as 1 roll of toilet paper. May want to include more considering the amount paid and number of people it can accommodate. Also, there were supposed to be 2 cribs per listing info, instead there was one crib with two pack n' plays, We had communicated that there would be 2 toddlers and 2 infants. We were unable to use the crib because it had a blow-up mattress was is not breathable. A heads up would have be good for baby accommodations. This caused problems for adult beds. ##### Juliana P. We were completely blown away by the views, the amenities, the quality of all the finishings. Every bedroom is unique but so comfortable. We had 19 adults staying in the house but its so large you felt like you could always get some peace and quiet if you wanted and there was just so much to do you would need a fortnight to enjoy it all!!! We booked for a small family wedding and it couldn't have been more perfect. Getting married with the views in the background and having everyone in one spot was exactly what I wanted, not to mention who else has photos of them coming down the multiple slides in a wedding dress :-) The kitchen has double of everything so absolutely no problem catering on a large scale. We had a large family gathering with multiple ages and interests. There was something for everyone! I think every game was played and every room used. The kitchen and patio grills/griddle made it very easy to cook for the large crowd. The kids of course loved the slides and playhouse within the house.
