Very helpful staff. As their check-in system is quite unusual, I needed some help. They were very responsive and solved any issues (that were mostly mine because I didn't understand the unusual digital check-in and door entry system). The decor is very Basque-themed, unique and fun. The location is in the middle of the old district, which is both good and bad. It is extremely noisy at night.

A great, themed room in lovely building in a central location of the Old Town. Close to bars, attractions and transport with helpful staff on hand for most of the time.

Great location though our room #7 was a bit noisy late into the evening due to being above and across the narrow street from a lively bar. Excellent, friendly service (gracias Vickey) and a great location in the Casco Viejo. Would definitely stay again 😃!!

Great location, friendly team, comfortable room... but the central location is very noisy at night so you will definitely need to use the free ear plugs.

We had a lovely stay at Pensión Basque Boutique. The location is great, staff at reception were excellent with helpful advice on places to visit & eat. The only thing to be aware of is that it’s up two flights of stairs with no lift.

Fabulous boutique hotel - lovely rooms with good facilities and a little balcony. All the staff were so helpful with anything I needed or had questions about. Amazing location in the old town and seconds/minutes to bars, restaurants and key sites. I had an amazing time and highly recommend this hotel. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, but easy to miss within the heart of old Bilbao. Be aware that it’s within a pedestrian area so if in a rented vehicles park at the nearby underground parking which is approximately 10 minutes walk away.

The pension was full of individuality and character. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. It was the only place we had stayed that provided hair straighteners as well as the usual amenities!
