We loved our time at this property. It was very clean and was exactly as advertised. The view of the mountains was fabulous. We would love to come back again.
This adorable little spot is perfect if you are looking to get away and unwind! The incredible mountain views from the patio do not disappoint! The large tile shower is incredibly relaxing and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
What a great place to stay! Love how it’s tucked in on their ranch with the most amazing view!! Great amenities and loved all the surrounding animals :) we’ve stayed a lot of places and this is definitely one of our favorites. We will be back!!
The farm house is a beautiful vacation home. It was extremely clean, comfortable, and gorgeous. The personal touches in the decor make you feel like you're at home on the ranch. It offered incredible sunrise views over the mountains each morning, and a friendly Hereford greeted us each morning.
Nice quite country setting. Beautiful views of the mountains. Nice cozy, clean and all new. Out away from everything, which we liked. Wanted to stay longer, but it was booked for the rest of the week. We enjoyed the spot and the quite.
This was absolutely the BEST place we have stayed in the Flathead valley in the last 26 years. Best view ever! Merill was just wonderful with checking in with us and there were plenty of incidentals in the cabin left for us! The cabin was pristine and all the decor was top notch! We will definitely be back next year!
We booked the Farmhouse for our anniversary trip and it was perfect! It was clean, upscale and just what we needed to unwind and decompress from a busy life. The property offers just about everything. The owner was quick to respond to questions and we couldn't have picked a better place for our celebration. Oh, and if you're into antiques, there's a huge red barn selling lots of them on the next propery. We will definitely return for another getaway!
Mitchell and Merill are a pleasure to work with from start to finish! They have a beautiful place with stunning mountain views and they’ve thought of everything to make sure guests are completely comfortable. We loved sitting outside with our coffee in the morning just enjoying the peace and solitude. We wanted a more authentic Montana experience than a hotel and got it. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We can’t wait to go back!
Look no further, The Stumble Inn guesthouse gives you the ultimate Montana experience! The guesthouse is beautifully appointed with everything you need. The location is perfect for exploring Big Fork, Flathead Lake, and is just 40 minutes from Glacier National Park. We loved the horses running in the morning and the changing views of the mountains during the day and evening. And those stars!
The owner provided great communication before and during our stay. We truly relaxed there and can't wait to return!
My husband and I stayed here for a week-long vacation and our stay was wonderful! The house was just as we expected from the photos, and it is the perfect location with beautiful views and privacy which made for the most relaxing and enjoyable stay. Merill was a great host, checking in on us throughout the week and very easy to get in contact with if necessary. We would absolutely recommend a stay here and hope to come back!
A gem of a stay. If you wanted Montana, this is the place
This is easily our coolest stay in a Vrbo / Airbnb. As advertised the guest house is on a farm and has stunning views of the mountains with loads of space. Every night we'd build a fire and watch the mountains light up in the sunset and watched the stars come out. The horses were great and the host has to super friendly dogs who respect your space but are more than happy to play fetch.
The guest house was built by the host and very well decorated. It felt nice knowing someone put so much effort into making the guest house so great.
I felt like we were invited to share something special with our stay. We will stay here again!
This guest house is a must if you are in or around Big Fork, Montana! We stayed 3 nights as we traveled this beautiful state and would have stayed a lot longer if we had the time! As noted in the description the views are spectacular! It's very private, exceptionally clean and well maintained. Merill and Mitchell have taken great care in making sure every amenity is top notch. The decor is modern and tasteful. The kitchen is well stocked, the living room is very comfortable with a nice big TV and cozy fireplace, bathroom is very roomy with a wonderful shower and the bedroom has a large closet, washer and dryer as pictured, very comfortable bed and an amazing view. The patio with picnic table and firepit is very welcoming. We spent every evening outdoors enjoying the amazing view of the mountains as well as enjoying the company of horses, mules and two very friendly dogs. The location is perfect for sightseeing. Downtown Big Fork is charming with several restaurants and plenty of shops. Glacier Natl Park is a short drive along with many other places for sightseeing, water sports, hiking and much more. Communications were very prompt and easy. Merill and Mitchell went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Excellent hosts!! Definitely the place we'll stay the next time we visit Montana!
Great place to step back in time & away from the crowds! Well positioned between Glacier & Jewel Basis. Lovely cabin with modern appointments and a super friendly & courteous host!
Awesome vacation rental in an awesome area! This was a very quiet stay surrounded by views of the mountains in every direction. Just a few minutes from Bigfork and about 40 minutes from West Glacier. We enjoyed the evenings with the horses in the pasture nearby. We watched several deer pass by also. The inside of the unit is done very well and we were very comfortable!
My wife and our two youngest children stayed two nights at the end of June. I don't have a single negative thing to say about our stay. The property is well kept and the guest house is very nice and modern. It was really clean and looked new. Merill was an awesome host. Her dogs were equally awesome hosts. The views from the house were amazing. The days were much longer than we were used to and we loved watching the sunset around 10:00 PM each evening. We had some horses, mules, three buck deer, and one doe join us the first evening. We tried to extend our stay by one night, but she was already booked. Go ahead and add an extra day when you book this jewel. You'll be glad you did! Thank you Merill!
We had a wonderful stay. The view and the home are both beautiful. The home is spotless and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The location is very peaceful and close to everything. We spent time in GNP, Kalispell, and Whitefish. Our children loved the two sweet pups that came visit each evening and we all enjoyed watching the horses in the field. The hosts are very attentive and on site. Can't wait to visit again.
HUGE shout-out to Mitchell and Merrill for opening up their home to us! It was more than we could have expected! So clean, warm, and inviting. It felt like a home away from home. The highlight of the ranch was the view, landscape and the animals all around. Their dogs Gus and Nala greeted us and quickly became our friends for the short week. They were a bonus to our stay!
Everything you could think of was stocked in the the home if you did not bring it with you! Every angle was covered from personal hygiene products to coffee to even a blow-dryer, and much more. We came in the early spring and it was still very cold out so that gas fireplace was a amazing to have at the end of the day to cuddle up in front of on the couch.
Lastly, the decor and art in the home is beautiful and I wanted to add that the bed in the bedroom is the MOST COMFORTABLE bed I have slept in other than my own. And after a long day of enjoying adventure and fresh mountain air, it was much appreciated.
The location is great as it is only about 25mins from the airport, 35 mins from Glacier National Park. And we came for the Spartan Race in Bigfork, and we were only a mile down the road from where we needed to park.
We would 110% stay here again! And would recommend anyone coming to Big Fork, MT or visiting Glacier National Park, that this little gem is the place to stay!
This place was amazing. If I could live here I would. My wife and I used it as a base for going to glacier, and although it was a little far away from the park (40 min drive), it was so relaxing and perfect. I would 100% stay here again.
