This unit is located on the second floor of the building and is accessible by either an elevator or the stairs. This 1,200 sq. ft. well-furnished condo is spacious with an open floor plan. The unit has tile floors in the bathroom and entry way and a wooden floor in the walk-in closet and bedroom. The living room is an engineered wood floor with oriental rugs in the living area and dining area. There is plenty of seating with a queen sized sofa, love seat and a comfortable overstuffed chair. The living room has a gas fireplace and opens onto a 220 sq. ft. deck with chairs, table, chaises lounges and a Weber gas frill overlooking the Swan River. Enjoy the scenery and sounds of the river while sitting by the fireplace or use the deck to enjoy a meal or simply soak in the views on the chaise lounges. This condo works extremely well for working remotely as the WiFi is fast and reliable. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed with a walk-in closet and a large ensuite bathroom. The shower is large with a natural pebble floor. There is ample room in the entry way to hang clothes or store shoes and outdoor gear. Swans Nest is at the heart of Bigfork and a minute's walk from shops, the Bigfork Summer Playhouse, galleries, boutiques, fine restaurants, live music and central to all the outdoor activities associated with the mountains and the lakes of the Flathead Valley. It is a forty-minute drive to Glacier National Park, but there are many other outdoor activities even closer by such as hiking in the Jewel Basin Wilderness area or Harrell Forest, playing golf at Eagle Bend Golf course, paddle boarding, horseback riding, kayaking and fly fishing on the Flathead and Swan Rivers. Flathead Lake offers many boating and sporting activities. There is abundant swimming, rafting, tubing, paddle boarding and kayaking opportunities in the rivers. In the winter, enjoy cross country skiing in the valley and by Glacier Park and snowboarding and skiing at Whitefish Mountain and Blacktail Mountain near Lakeside. We also have a a luxury yurt , Baird and cabin available for rent on our farm in Somers ... Contact us for details. Parking is available in the parking lot at the complex. You will need a 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive for much of the year. We have a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee that we rent as well as two 2021 Jeep Gladiator Rubicons, a 2020 Jeep Gladiator, four 2021 Jeep Wrangler electric/hybrid soft-top Jeep Wrangler XE and a 2023 Chrysler Pacifica minivan.Please contact us for details if you are interested as they book up fast. We offer our guests discounted rates and also have car seats, ski racks and coolers and bear spray. Note: we do sell these out in the summer. There can be snow at altitude until late June! Late October in Bigfork is a beautiful-quiet time of year and this location is the very best for walking to shops, restaurants, theatre and hiking trails along the river. Although I stayed solo with my rescue pup, it can sleep 4 people and still feel spacious. Lovely outdoor patio, fully equipped kitchen with island and a great fireplace that can be enjoyed from dining/living/kitchen areas. Comfy furniture and lots of artwork. Showers is extra big too with plenty of hot water. I especially appreciate the Hastens linens on the bed — dreamy! Host Linda is super easy to communicate with — and an all around very nice person. Bigfork surpassed our expectations! This condo is the perfect place. It is beautifully decorated with all the comforts of home. It is very clean and offers lots of little things. It is the perfect location for a Flathead Valley Basecamp, and all that NW Montana offers. 20 feet from coffee, dinner and everything else you’d want. The balcony, with sounds of local live music and of the Swan River, is a great ending to a long day exploring.
