The cabin was perfect for us. We used the row boat to fish and caught a few nice bass. We used the canoe, kayaks & peddle boat cruise around & explore the Muskegon river. We loved having a bonfire each night and roasting s’mores. We went into Newago one day and highly eating at the New-ago Brewery. Played some cards, bags, and just relaxed. Kitchen is fully stocked; note, just need to bring keurig coffee cups. We used the grill for hamburgers & chicken and loved eating on the deck. It was sufficiently stocked and the owner let us know what to bring before we got there. The fishing was tremendous from the provided paddle boat. We used Rebel Wee Craws in chartreuse and orange. We spent most of our time around the lily pad beds. There was a canoe, row boat, and kayaks, too. The neighbors were friendly and even though it was Labor Day weekend, it did not get rowdy. We saw bald eagles, swans, and black squirrels. The location is absolutely gorgeous everything listed was available to us and working. We were hoping for queen size beds, a full kitchen, location for outdoor grilling and bonfires, a place on the water with boats and room for our family to visit and play. Not only did this property offer all of this, but there were also outdoor games, privacy with all of the mature trees surrounding the location, an amazing 4th of July light show over the water and a boat for everyone in our group.
