We enjoyed a week here with a 10 person family gathering. We found it to a very nice location and thoroughly enjoyed it. Highlights for us were...Generously stocked with cleaning, laundry and dish supplies. Including a large selection of Keurig pods, Seasonings/herbs, and oils. Many outdoor locations to congregate and enjoy to farmland views. Including a very quiet backyard swing for 2. A great fire pit.Kitchen is first rate. Easily handling 2 full meals a day. Downstairs bathroom/shower got great reviews from us all. Tons of towels and extra linens with a really good laundry.Wifi handled everything we threw at it without issue. Well set up for outdoor entertainment. There are many games, extra chairs, and 2 full size picnic tables. My main suggestion for potential renters would be to bring longer charging cords. The house predates wired electric so modern outlets are at a minimum in the older front and upstairs bedrooms. Ext cords and powerstrips are provided to help alleviate this, but long charging cords are helpful to get things near you. We would stay again.
We had a great stay. The place was very comfortable. The host was easy to reach and very helpful. We had a wonderful time visiting with friends and family around the area.
Great place to stay with small children. There was a fun bunk bed for our toddler and they provided baby gates so that our baby couldn’t climb up the stairs. We had a great visit with family.
My family of four loved this home. Plenty of room, lovely furnishings, and convenient location for the wedding we attended at he Hidden Vineyard Wedding Barn.
A beautiful property! The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. Working with Hilary was a pleasure as she responded quickly to all my questions and made the check-in/check-out process a breeze. Would highly recommend!
A few friends and I were in town for a wedding and stayed at the property with our dogs. It is a beautiful setting, especially in fall! We enjoyed using the deck and fire pit, and the beds were comfy.
One thing to note is to have an accurate count of how many people will be staying with you because that will change the price of your stay.
The Farm was a peaceful place to stay. We greatly enjoyed sitting on the patio, bird watching, and resting on the hammock. The kitchen and dining room are large and comfortable. Our host, Hilary, was easy to contact and eager to help.
Enjoyed a nice relaxing time with family and celebrating Thanksgiving. The house was awesome, and it reminded us of our farmhouse in Virginia. The big table allowed us to have a wonderful meal. We will defiantly use this house again when we visit.
Had a great day… My wife loved the charm of the farmhouse features and we had a great family bonfire on a cool November night 👍
Lots of games and everything you need.
This is a gorgeous space, well stocked for hosting and relaxing. Hilary was very communicative and super helpful, and made sure the space was perfect for us as we arrived! This was a wonderful experience where a group of friends were able to have private rooms and tons of space for being together.
We all loved the Farm! We had adults and children totaling 12 people and we all had space to roam. The Farm was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. The beds were comfy, the towels were fluffy and the kitchen was well stocked. We all enjoyed making s’mores and talking around the campfire at night. We enjoyed being out in the country and star watching. It was a great stay.

Even more lovely than expected.
Immaculate. Comfortable beds and sofas. Beautiful artwork and furnishings. Enjoyable outdoor spaces. Terrific selection of kitchenware. Note: high toilet in accessible bathroom. Few dressers.
Charming 1870 farm house in the country with all you need! If you like to cook, you will find this kitchen well stocked and waiting for you! It’s in the countryside so very peaceful and quiet. Nice outdoor deck and all you need for the beach. The owner is readily available and eager to please. If quiet and comfortable is what you’re looking for, then this is the place!
Host was very helpful and communicative! The house has nice gathering space and charm.
Also, and this was a BIG plus for our group which included an elderly person with a walker, IT HAS A RAMP to get in! (The bed on the main level is a tad high for someone with mobility issues to climb into however, but that person in our group just slept on the couch and was comfy.)
It was rainy while we were there, but it looks like a good backyard for nice weather (nice patio & fire pit, etc.)!
We enjoyed our stay!
This is a very nice old farm house. The inside has been re done and was very nice. We stayed 2 nights to attend the NIU at Notre Dame football game. Very short drive to South Bend. Most of our time was spent outside enjoying the fire pit. Every room had a window air conditioner and an oscillating fan which made for a comfortable temperature. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils and accessories which was very helpful. More than most VRBO's we have stayed. We would stay here again.

Andrews Graduation
Our family of 10 stayed at the property for Andrews University Graduation. The proximity was excellent. We had enough space and beds. The bathroom situation was difficult. There was one full bath located downstairs by the back door. Not convenient for anyone. There was one very small half bath upstairs with not much space for using to get ready. For there to be so few bathrooms but space to sleep so many, bedrooms need to be equipped with mirrors to do hair, makeup etc. It was quite warm when we were there and not all bedrooms are equipped with air conditioners (which are window units) The host explained that her mower broke and she couldn't finish cutting the grass...thats fine but overall the property was not well maintained. Overall the stay was pleasant and met our needs. Also the host checked in by text and was very kind.
The home was charming and very well supplied. Only issue was that we were only allows access to 5 of the 6 bedrooms, and so we were short a bed for the 7 adults and 2 children we had arranged to stay there. Otherwise, it was great.
