Unfortunately we don't allow cats (we're allergic). Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or similar—especially during certain seasons. We appreciate your understanding as nature tends to leave its mark, no matter how often we tidy up! Beyond the cabin itself, we love how close to everything we are -- particularly Great Cacapon State Park and Berkeley Springs. The park is free to enter and has miles of hiking trails, a beach and small lake, golf course, mountain biking trails, horse stables, and a clay shooting range. There is a lovely view from the deck and the cabin was clean and comfortable. There is a big yard which our dogs loved! Cacapon State park is about 20 min away and has a lot of amenities including some great hikes. It is worth exploring. We liked Berkeley Springs Brewery, good beer and food about 25 min away. The road to the cabin is steep in places and in winter weather I would want AWD/4WD. We had a nice getaway and would stay here again. ##### Jean D.
