(9) No exception to check-in and check-out times unless discussed with the host in advance. (10) Always make sure keys are placed back in lock box & the lock box is closed properly before departure. (11) Garbage disposal: please run water into disposal when in use. (12) Please make sure to turn off stove burners, oven, grill, coffee machine or iron immediately when done using. (13) Once you are done using the Fire Pit, please make sure you extinguish flames with bucket of water (found underneath the kitchen sink) by slowly soaking the burning embers, making sure that the fire is out and the contents of the fire pit are completely soaked. (14) Please close windows anytime you leave the house or when you know it will rain, or at night before going to bed as sometimes strong winds and rain develop at night time. (15) If anything gets damaged or broken please report to the office - 304-258-5300. (16) Please do not move or drag furniture on floor to prevent scratching the floor. We enjoyed the outside sitting areas and the hot tub. The kitchen is well equipped, and the house was very clean. Unfortunately beds were not the most comfortable and very firm, maybe adding a mattress topper would help? We also thought this location was closer to the park, because it is listed as walkable. The house is wonderful with updated bathrooms, kitchen, W/D and even a fire pit and hot tub. Pretty much everything you need, can “unplug” if you want but we did have enough Wi-Fi for what we wanted to do. Great location, a short walk to Berkeley Springs park and pools and lots of kitschy fun shops. Several good eating places nearby and stores are convenient if you forget something. Cacapon SP a short drive away and also movies, bowling, billiards and brewpubs. Very pleasant, dark and quiet at night and a large front porch for watching summer thunderstorms roll through. I was kind of surprised by the multiple ACs. They worked great and were fine for our stay but it might get kind of warm peak summer time. The house is neat as it’s an older home and we both enjoy character. I will give a heads up that a neighbor does have a confederate flag hanging on their residence which did make us feel uncomfortable and does not fit the vibes of Berkeley Springs so it was a shock to see that. They did not bother us at all but I felt the need to give a heads up during these times. Overall this was perfect for our stay and the property management company was responsive and the women I spoke with when looking for the WiFi code was so nice too!
