Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Behramli?
The best area to stay in Behramli is Assos, particularly the area around Behramkale village and the ancient port.

Assos offers a unique blend of history and natural beauty, situated on a hill overlooking the Aegean Sea. The village of Behramkale, perched atop the hill, is home to the impressive Temple of Athena and a well-preserved ancient theatre. The narrow cobblestone streets are dotted with stone houses, small shops, and tavernas, providing a lovely setting for an evening stroll. Down by the ancient port, you'll find a collection of hotels and seafood restaurants right by the water.

Couples often find Assos to be an ideal retreat. The romantic setting, with stunning sunsets over the sea and the historical ruins, creates a memorable experience. You can spend your days exploring the ancient sites, swimming in the clear waters of the Aegean, or simply relaxing at a waterside restaurant.

For those seeking a more secluded and quiet experience, the hotels scattered along the coastline just outside the main village offer private beaches and stunning views.
When is the best time to go to Behramli?
The best time to visit Behramli is during the spring and autumn months, specifically from April to June and September to October.

These periods offer pleasant weather, with warm but not excessively hot temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the ancient ruins of Assos and enjoying the natural beauty of the region. You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months, allowing for a more relaxed experience.

For those who enjoy swimming and sunbathing, the summer months of July and August are also a good option, though it can get quite warm. The Aegean Sea is at its warmest then, superb for enjoying the beaches and watersports.
