"I had a great stay at the pousada! Check in was easy. I missed my flight from Sao Luiz and ended up getting driven there. I didn't arrive until after 9p. Right away I was able to check-in & book tours to Lencois Maranhenses for the next morning with the front desk. The front desk is so helpful with everything and were all so sweet. The room was simple but a clean, quiet place to lay your head with everything in working order. The breakfast is also simple but it was great to have that available...

"Hotel Pousada Paraiso das Águas was a nice place to stay. It was a simple place, but clean and located in a good location that was quiet and within walking distance to most things in town. The staff was very nice and helpful. "

The area within walking distance around Ciamat Camp had practically nothing to offer, so we felt we were stuck to the grounds at Ciamat Camp during our stay. At Ciamat Camp, food was served only during set hours, so you could eat only during those set times. The site was very quiet, but there wasn’t much to do besides relax. We were offered some day tours, but the prices were very expensive compared to the prices at...

"Absolutely not worth the price, massive rip off for a 3 star Pousada. Pictures are not from the Pousada they offer, it is from a slightly better version, pictures do not show the reality. No service, crappy rooms, not pleasant at all"

"Wonderful pousada, great, smiling and helpful staff, excellent cook. Verynice bungalows, surrounded by a beautiful nature and great animals. Spending time in the lagoas and dunes is amazing. Also great place for kitesurfing. Thanks to everyone of the pousada! "

"Foi excelente ficamos seis dias na pousada. Ótima limpeza, ótimo atendimento, ótimo restaurante, estacionamento em.frente ao chalé, piscina ótima, camas e ar condicionado novos e ótimos. A localização que é um pouco afastada do centro mas eu estava com carro alugado então sem problem. Eu vi muitas pousadas e esta ganha disparado em qualidade."

The location is outside of city center so it is very peaceful at night. The draw back is the 30R round trip every time you take the moto taxi. "
